I can honestly say that if you have not read any of Nana’s books before (like myself), you can easily start this new series without any prior knowledge and absolutely enjoy it.

The main characters, Lance and Morgan, absolutely carried this book with their chemistry, the tension between them, and their banter. Nana did a wonderful job of creating characters that were more than just surface level and more than just the circumstances they grew up in.

I really enjoyed the storyline, along with the twists and turns that helped add some layers to this dynamic world. Nana does a great job with the secondary characters by adding more dimensions to the family dynamics.

This story flowed really well and I really liked how everything blended together and delivered an entertaining book. And that cliffhanger – well done. I cannot wait for the next book.

Jane has done it again!!! These books get better and better.

This can easily be read as a standalone. However, you will want to go back and read the first two because this book will have you wanting to.

The blurb is all you need to know going into this book. Jane does a wonderful job with character development and creating that tension between them. The memories were a perfect addition and helped add another layer to the story.

I really enjoyed the blend of the Bravata dangers with the romance elements and the family values. Jane weaves all of this so well and keep readers engaged the entirety of the story.

I cannot wait to see what she brings next in Unhinged.

Devney never lets me down with her books and this is one is no exception.

I have thoroughly loved this series and never thought I would enjoy each book more than the last one. Each book can easily be read as a standalone and once you read one, you will want to read the others.

Merit surprised me as I was not prepared for the huge emotional roller coaster in this one. Don’t get me wrong, Devney has ran me through the gamut of emotions in other books. However, there are certain scenes in this book that just had me sobbing when moments before I had been laughing.

I am not going to spoil anything with even miniscule happenings in this book. The blurb is all you need to know going into this one. You will devour and love this story so much.

An absolute MUST READ!

If Jewel writes, I will read it (that is totally said in my head like the famous Field of Dreams quote).

I feel like I say this with every book she writes (and I probably do) but I don’t think there is ever a story of hers that I do not immensely enjoy and find myself completely absorbed by.

All of her stories are absolutely addictive with their story lines. But these last two books have just been on another level with the emotions.

I freaking love Maren; I love everything about her. Ozzy – what can I say – he’s on another level when it comes to single dads. These two together – perfection in so many ways.

I loved the progression of this story. It felt so natural, so real. Jewel delivers an amazing story that is filled with laughs, some angst and alot of emotion that will just pull at your heart.

From Nowhere is another phenomenal story that will stay with me a long time.

Lots of new-to-me authors recently and I am loving it!!

Why has no one told me about this author before now?!?! Maggie Cole, you have just earned yourself a new fangirl!!

This series is apparently a spin-off from another series she wrote, but I can tell you I had no idea and you need zero prior knowledge to absolutely enjoy this book.

Bride by Initiation is an intriguing and gripping dark mafia/secret society romance. Sean and Zara are both on a quest to find out about each of their father’s secrets and it takes them down a path neither anticipated.

Maggie has written a brilliant story with an engaging plot, great characters with a storyline that flows at the perfect pace. I love the story plays out in perfect timing and she blends the dark with the suspense and romance in such a spectacular way that you can’t out the book down.

I devoured this book in one sitting and has left me wanting more about this whole secret society and what is to come in future books. Zara and Sean get their ending but you know there is more to come with others.

Definitely go buy this one!

I have never read anything by Ashley before and was pleasantly surprised with this book. After finishing this book, I did a bit more research on Ashley because I wanted to see what other books she had out and was even more surprised to see that she’s a fairly new author (first published in 2023 and this is her fourth release). So this is my PSA to everyone saying to check her out because she’s quite talented.

This is a great start to a new series by Ashley Elizabeth. This is labeled as a dark romance, however, I would say the only “dark” parts are what Scarlett endures and everything else is more on the suspense side. This would be perfect for anyone looking to dip their toes into dark romance.

I won’t go into any specifics or details about this book because I feel like readers will enjoy this book more without knowing much more than the blurb. This story does surround Leo and Scarlett and how their lives are intertwined once again.

Broken in the Dark is very fast paced with some twists and turns that keeps readers right at the edge the entire time. I did figure things out fairly early on, but that did not really hinder my enjoyment of this book. And while there were some things that bothered me (few character inconsistencies) they too did not hurt the overall vibe of this story.

I highly recommend this story. It’s a great way to dip your toes into dark romance and dark romance lovers will appreciate the story itself with how things play out.
