Rachel, Rachel, Rachel – you are torturing us readers in the best possible way. LOL

Bend the Pucking Rules starts exactly where book 1 left off (gut wrenching cliffy) but we are thrown a loop with Callan. Aidric is his typical alpha-self and tries to remind everyone of their place, all the while making sure nothing happens to them.

This book focuses more on Avery and Sebastian as she leans on him more while Callan is healing. We see a different side to Sebastian but he’s still who he is at his core and that’s what makes him even more intriguing as the story moves along.

Rachel does a phenomenal job with the twists and turns and keep readers on their toes the entire time. Just when you think you know something, she proves us wrong and throws another puzzle piece into the air. And I love how the romance plays right into the suspense of everything, just giving the book a whole new level of intrigue.

A fantastic book two and after that epilogue – I am dying for book three!

You Were Never Not Mine – the final (maybe) book in the Lancaster Prep generation and Monica gives her readers a impactful story.

August and Sinclair’s story is quite the doozy. It’s told from both their POVs and has some flashbacks to their past when they had their first encounter.

Monica paces this story perfectly – it’s fast paced with a very engaging plot that is very character driven. I have to say that August made this book outstanding for me. You have to read it to find out why.

I have read this entire generation (the first Lancaster Prep series and this spin-off with their children) and I absolutely love it. I love Monica’s writing style as it matches perfectly with this world and the characters she has created.

You can easily read this book without having any previous knowledge of any other books, but do know that it will make you want to read the other books in this world.

Sometimes being late to the party isn’t so bad. And in the case, being late to read this series paid off because I would’ve cried having to wait for each book to release.
And I got to read the novella plus a few extras with this – perfection!

This entire collection of all 3 books plus all the extra goodies is perfection!! I will write a review for each book under their respective books but let me tell you – Abby knows how to write a phenomenal series and keep each book engaging and intriguing for the reader.

I love how each book allowed the reader to see how Abby and her boys relationships develop – not only together but her with each of them individually. There are some heavy topics that in this series but Abby handles them with grace while still keeping it real and raw.

I read her other series, Boys of South Chapel before I read this and I loved seeing the connections between the two series. They are completely separate reads but it’s always more enjoyable when you see how they can intertwine.

And those bonus pieces we get in this box set – LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! As I said, I am so glad that I read this entire series in one big read.

Abby is my go-to for coming of age, college romance series. And she writes Reverse Harem/Why Choose so incredibly well.

Brother’s Best friend – I am in!!!

Play It Off is a very fast, paced college romance. Gavin and Sienna’s story starts off very interesting and it sets the stage for what happens throughout the book.

I won’t get too detailed with what all happens with this book. I will say that the storyline is interesting and it had me turning the pages.

My only gripe was I wanted a bit more depth to show the full chemistry between Gavin and Sienna. I felt it was more surface level for them, even though it was hot.

All the characters in this book are very colorful, for lack of better word. They stood out alot in this book but it’s needed to see how everyone is intertwined.

I am excited for the next book in this series.

Bravo Rachel!! Well done kicking this trilogy off.

This is very fast-paced and I devoured this easily. Rachel does a nice job of detailing the background of the secret society along with how the characters intertwine. This book is told from dual POV’s but you can tell it will leading into a Why Choose/Reverse Harem as the trilogy continues.

Rachel does a great job of blending the mystery behind the SS, using the school and hockey as their cover and the relationship with Avery and the hockey boys. Callahan is the main MMC in this one and he’s quite the complex character.

I won’t go much further into details – the blurb gives you enough to know what you are getting into. Rachel’s writing talent weaves a story of enemies to lovers, transitioning to why choose with a mix of mystery, suspense and mayhem.

Break Your Pucking Heart is a an addictive story that leaves us begging for the next book.

I love sports romance stories and really enjoyed these were set during their college years.

I really enjoyed this box set. Each book is a full standalone but you will see overlapping characters in each one. Even though none of the stories are connected to one another, I felt that each book was better than the previous and I think that just shows the author’s writing progress and how she grew as she wrote the stories.

First book: Bad Boys Break Hearts features Mascen and Rory. These two knew one another when they are kids, but a tragic even caused Rory and her family to abruptly leave and neither of them have spoke or seen one another in the last 10 years. They now run into each other at college and things become complicated.

While I love second change, enemies to lovers, I felt alot of this could have all been avoided if these two actually communicated better, not just with each other, but those around them.

This book was right down the middle enjoyable for me.

Second Book: Nice Guys Don’t Win features Cole and Zoey. This is a roommates to lovers and coach’s daughter’s romance – which I absolutely love! This story progressed so naturally and I felt these two handled everything so well. Readers met Cole in book one, but you can easily read this one without any knowledge and love him just as much.

While I personally wanted more tension between the two of them, I really enjoyed this one.

Third Book: Real Players Never Lose features Teddy and Vanessa. Teddy and Vanessa’s romance starts off with fake dating due to issues both Teddy and Vanessa finds themselves in and realize they both could help one another out.

I enjoyed this story the most. This story unfolded very really well and the chemistry was undeniable between the two of them. I will say there were parts that felt a little too drawn-out and one aspect that was left unfinished, but I still enjoyed this one the most.

Overall – a great sports romance boxset!

Rachel starts this story off with a bang and keeps the storyline moving throughout the entirety of the book.

I really enjoyed how readers could see the relationship building between Hayes & Brogan – we are just told but can truly see this play out.

Hayes was quite the surprise. Readers get to see him grow and learn so much.

Brogan is force to be reckoned with. I loved her strength and how she took control of the narrative.

Rachel wrote a terrific story that’s engaging with characters that had some great depth to them. I loo forward to more books from her.

Monica starts this new series off well and just in time for football season!!

End Game is definitely more on the slow-burn romance with very low angst and honestly, it was the perfect combination for Nico and Everleigh.

Everleigh finds herself as the fourth roommate with three guys; three guys who happen to be known as the Kings around campus.

Nico is the typical playboy but struggles with his attraction to Everleigh. But she’s the new roommate and off-limits.

I really enjoyed how this one played out. While some parts felt a bit too long, it helped build that tension and low angst. But also add in the roommates and friends, this was nicely paced story and great build-up for the rest of the books in this series.

A great college, sports romance read. I am looking forward to more from this series.
