This a phenomenal summer romance read!!

If you read the blurb, then you know what you are getting when you jump into this book. I won’t rehash that or possibly give away any parts that were fun uncovering while I read.

I will tell you that this book moves at the perfect and you will love these characters. Claire is an open book and doesn’t hold back on how she feels. Miles is a true gentleman and I have so much respect for this man. What I loved most about them both – they are relatable; they are normal people like us.

I loved all the interactions between these two and I literally smiled the entire time reading this book. It’s an absolutely amazing read and as I said, perfect for the summer.

Definitely buy this one!!

Jane Henry has quickly become one of my favorite mafia/Bravata authors.

Matvei and Anissa are exactly what this title says, Unhinged. They both excel at their jobs and have some very unusual tastes.

Matvei has been looking for Anissa ever since she shamed his family. Anissa has been hiding out under the protection of the Irish mob, but once a deal is settled between the Russians and the Irish, Anissa is free game – she just doesn’t it.

I loved how everything played out and how these two played the ultimate game of cat and mouse. But it’s once these two find some common ground, secrets and lies unfold and they find themselves fighting more than just each other.

Jane wrote this story flawlessly. There is zero pause in the intensity, and the spicy scenes are perfection. Jane does not hold back on anything and it just make this story all the more intense.

Matvei and Anissa are one of my favorite couples in this series and that is saying something because I have thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series so far. I am overly excited for the next book.

So when I started reading this book, it felt very familiar to me. It wasn’t until about 20% in that it hit me square in the face. I read this book when Kristi published this back in 2018 under a different title.

Let me tell you, if a story that is over 8 years old, comes raging back to my memory as if I just read it, you know it’s a phenomenal story. I loved this story so much, I continued reading it because I love these characters and their story.

Dylan is an upcoming song writer that is now force to work with her ex due to their contract obligations. But she knows she can write anywhere, so she asks for a favor from her brother and finds herself rooming with one of his friends.

Grady is a firefighter and had no problems with Dylan crashing at his place. He’s working through his own demons and doesn’t mind having someone around who has no idea what he’s been through.

However, these two prove to be more than the distraction they expected from one another. As Grady works through finding his love for life again, he helps Dylan move past her ex and showing her she’s more than she sees in herself.

Kristy writes amazing characters that have so much depth, it’s impossible to not feel these words come alive. The story moves at the perfect pace and it’s the perfect amount of angst.

A highly recommended read and I am so grateful I had the opportunity re-read this one.

I was not expecting ALL that in this story.

First off, this book had me in a chokehold – which Jackson would love to hear. I read this book within a day, but each time I had to pause for whatever reason (work and family – always so needy), this book was on my mind. I had to know what was going to happen next.

Second – Jackson – damn. I am not one that’s into his kinks, the whole degrading thing but damn he made it sound hot and Georgia begged for it – ALOT.

Third – the plotline. WOW. There is alot that goes on in this story and it keeps you right at the edge the entire time. As much as Jackson and Georgia’s forbidden secret played a key role, the suspense and blackmail happening was just as enticing.

JD did a fantastic job of blending everything going on in this book into one high-octane story that leaves you breathless, in so many ways. This book had me on edge the entire time and even though I was right on things, it was how it all played that made this story perfect.

And I can’t forget Noah – he’s why all this happened to begin with. I am looking forward to more from him…

Brother’s Best friend – I am in!!!

Play It Off is a very fast, paced college romance. Gavin and Sienna’s story starts off very interesting and it sets the stage for what happens throughout the book.

I won’t get too detailed with what all happens with this book. I will say that the storyline is interesting and it had me turning the pages.

My only gripe was I wanted a bit more depth to show the full chemistry between Gavin and Sienna. I felt it was more surface level for them, even though it was hot.

All the characters in this book are very colorful, for lack of better word. They stood out alot in this book but it’s needed to see how everyone is intertwined.

I am excited for the next book in this series.

Destructively Mine picked up where Dishonestly Yours ended but this book is definitely more spicy.

We get some answers from the cliffhanger in book one but Krista and Becca continue to weave the overall plot throughout the book.

We get more of Phoebe and Rocky along with bits and pieces from their past. I love that we get to see things from both their POVs.

The story moves along nicely, but a bit slow for me. I felt there was some unnecessary filler that didn’t really add to the plot development or even character development. It didn’t necessarily hurt the story, but I definitely glazed over parts.

Overall, I enjoyed this one and it has me excited to see what book three brings us.

WHAT DID I JUST READ!?!?!

This is only my second book by this author, but she is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors to read. I am in awe of her writing prowess and her ability to keep readers engaged from the first page to the very end. This book is 500 pages of jaw-dropping intensity that I read within 24 hours – I regret nothing – loss of sleep was worth it.

This book absolutely blew me away. Wren and Peaches have been best friends forever but Wren has always wanted to be more. Peaches just never realized how far Wren was willing to go to make that happen. Peaches also is a very independent and headstrong woman who doesn’t want to be dominated.

And that just barely scrapes that surface of what unfolds in this book. Lola creates a multi-layered story that will keep readers at the edge of their seats, begging for more at each turn of the page. Lola weaves a dark, suspenseful story riddled with twists and turns you won’t see coming. This is a dark romance, so please heed the triggers.

Mr. Charming is the fourth book in this series and can be read as a complete standalone. I have not read any of the previous books in this series (but definitely want to now) and had zero issues with reading this story or needing any sort of previous knowledge to appreciate Tedi and Tweetie.

I really enjoyed the dynamics between Tedi and Tweetie. You could immediately feel the pull between them and the difficulty in staying away from one another (for reasons we learned as the book progressed).

I will be honest, Tweetie won me over. He may have his demons, but his love for Tedi was remarkable. Tedi – I understand her reasonings, but didn’t agree with her alot on things. And that’s ok – not every character an author writes is one that I will like, but I still enjoyed their story. My one gripe with this one – the length. I don’t think it needed to be as long as it was – some scenes dragged (for me) and others just felt unnecessary to the plot.

Overall, I really like this second-chance story. I definitely am curious about the secondary characters and their stories, so I will be going back and reading those books now.

Bravo Rachel!! Well done kicking this trilogy off.

This is very fast-paced and I devoured this easily. Rachel does a nice job of detailing the background of the secret society along with how the characters intertwine. This book is told from dual POV’s but you can tell it will leading into a Why Choose/Reverse Harem as the trilogy continues.

Rachel does a great job of blending the mystery behind the SS, using the school and hockey as their cover and the relationship with Avery and the hockey boys. Callahan is the main MMC in this one and he’s quite the complex character.

I won’t go much further into details – the blurb gives you enough to know what you are getting into. Rachel’s writing talent weaves a story of enemies to lovers, transitioning to why choose with a mix of mystery, suspense and mayhem.

Break Your Pucking Heart is a an addictive story that leaves us begging for the next book.

I know I can always count on Teagan to write an entertaining sports romance and this series has fit that bill perfectly.

Empty Net is the fourth book in this series and focuses on Fox and Lilah.

Fox is the epitome of a southern mama’s boy and a true gentleman. I loved how he did not hesitate to step up and help out Lilah, even if she did not want his help.

Lilah is very headstrong and likes to get things done on her own. But it’s impossible for her to ignore the help she needs (and gets) from Fox.

I always enjoy the text chains (Teagan has that in all these books) and it helps keeps add some jovialness to the story. The story flowed very nicely.

Fox’s story was a great addition to the series and I like that none of these players are alike and it keeps the stories fresh and enjoyable.

Just when I think Bella can’t outdo herself, she delivers THIS book!!!

I absolutely LOVED everything about this!! This is not your typical single dad/nanny story. I have read many books with this trope, but none quite like this.

I was not expecting the amount of emotions to come out of me while reading this book. The amount of banter between Emmie and Maverick was perfection. It just showed that their chemistry was fire and these knew how to handle the other, but still have respect. And Rosie – that girl stole my heart.

Bella truly knows how to write a phenomenal slow-burn romance with the right amount of tension and spice. I loved that this story made me laugh, cry, get a bit hot under the collar and just have the biggest smile the majority of the book.

This is Bella’s best-to-date book, in my humble opinion.

Worth every penny!
