Bless Your Heart is the first book in Lyla’s newest series, Valentine Texas, and knows how to grab her readers and keep them vested.

I absolutely loved this enemies-to-lovers story. Beckett and Summer have lived by one another for their entire lives and Summer also happens to be Beckett’s sister’s best friend. So these have always been at each other’s throats until Beckett’s family started seeing it as sexual tension the older everyone got.

A property next to the Beckett farm has now come up for sale and both want it for their own businesses. But neither is willing to help the other out because that’s just how these two roll. But what happens when Beckett challenges Summer and she’s loses the bet and now has to go on a date with him?!?

Lyla delivered the perfect southern romance with the right amount of sexual tension. I absolutely enjoyed the banter amongst everyone, especially the siblings. There were some conversations that started to veer towards weird, but thankfully Lyla handled that well.

Overall, this is a great start to the series and I cannot see who we read about next.

When RVD first started “messing” around the idea of this story, I absolutely loved. She wrote a few pieces in her reader group and we practically begged her to write this as a full fledge novel. So when she announced, Exposing The Groom, I was just beyond excited to read this.

The blurb gives you all you need to know about the plot. I will tell you that Rachel writes one hilarious, rockstar romance.

It does start off a bit chaotic for me, but quickly everything evens out and things begin to come together. I loved everything about this book – from the characters, to their mannerisms to how the whole plot plays out.

There has not been one book in this entire series that I have not absolutely loved. And the best part – not one story is anywhere close to the same!! All the characters are so completely different and their stories are so incredibly unique. And I love each one the same because of that.

Fitz and Rosie are absolutely so adorable. Fitz is one the most reserved hockey players but he has his reasons.

Rosie may be a woman who seems very confident, but she’s not always been that way.

I loved watching the sparks fly between these two and as time goes on, seeing their budding relationship blossom. I love their quirkiness and their different kinks. I just love – both as individuals and absolutely when they are finally together.

I want to say so much, but I won’t. Just like every other book in this series – you will fall in love with these characters.

Neutral Zone is the perfect build up and has the perfect blend of sports, humor and romance.

Monica crushes this story so well. She gives these characters depth and weaves the perfect layers to this plot.

Carolina’s mom is pulling her from her London Dance school to attend her last year at Lancaster Prep – the school her family owns and the one she cared to never step foot in. What she does not expect is come face to face with West.

West rules Lancaster Prep. But neither knew of the other when they had their tryst in Paris.

Monica delivers the perfect cat and mouse story. I love how Carolina tries to stay aloof with West. But West just loves getting under her skin any chance he gets.

I want to say so much but what I loved most was that I had no idea what was going to happen between these two and I will not spoil that for any reader.

You can definitely read this as a standalone, but I would recommend me reading all these stories in order to get the full affect of them.

Jane Anthony is a new author to me. The blurb for P.S. You’re the Worst caught my attention and I enjoy reading new authors. And I was not disappointed in the least.

Jane captures her audience from the very start and keeps us hooked throughout the entire book.

P.S. You’re the Worst is an enemies to lovers story and Jane’s writing brings this story to life. Dylan and Darla are from two different sides of the tracks and couldn’t be different if they tried. But it’s the unexpected second meet between the two of that fans the flames that began as a spark after their first encounter.

I loved that Jane keeps her characters true to who they are, but also grow too. The banter between Dylan and Darla is perfection; they both dual against one another but also bring out the best in one another. The push and pull adds to that angst and chemistry building between them.

I could not put this down once I started it. The characters are flawed in their own ways and the story flows at the perfect pace. I enjoyed the intensity of this book and absolutely loved watching these characters grow in their own rights.

Jane Anthony, you just gained yourself another reader. I am looking forward to reading more from her.

A Cruel Arrangement is the second book in Tijan’s Kings of New York and just as fantastic as the first.

Tijan is a magician with her words. She knows exactly how to grip her readers right from the start and keep them entertained through the end. However, she also knows how to weave a story that is completely different even though it’s within the same series. Molly and Ashton’s story is completely different than Trace and Jess’s.

Molly may come across as this timid rabbit but she was pretty much raised on the streets. Her interactions with her Father, Shorty, only added to her difficulty upbringing and molded her into who she is today.

Ashton has no qualms about getting his hands dirty. He doesn’t even flinch at any violence; he pretty much wears it like armor. He’s a man of action and has no remorse for it. He purposely has kept a wall up and doesn’t allow himself to have any weaknesses for others to use against him. Until Molly.

I love how this story played out. Tijan kept these characters true to who they are and yet they evolved too. The banter between them all was perfection and I loved that Molly kept Ashton on his toes. He never knew what to expect from her and that helped bond them even more.

I highly recommend this series so much! You will not regret it.

I know when I read a Brittainy Cherry book, I am going to get more than a phenomenal story with amazing characters. I am going to come away from it with some many life lessons from her words.

The Coldest Winter is a forbidden romance between a student and a teacher. Brittainy does this trope justice and is very genuine in her writing. While this book may have that forbidden aspect, I felt so much while reading this book.

“We were the greatest mistake that felt so right.”

This story goes way deeper than just the taboo portion. There is a lot of heartbreak, growth and devotion. This is not your typical forbidden romance. The love between Milo and Star pours from these pages.

GAH!! I loved this book so much. Milo and Star hold a special place in my heart.

Coach is Devney’s newest release and the first book in her Treasure State Wildcats series.

All you need to know about this book is in the blurb. It covers quite a few tropes underneath the sports romance genre. Single dad in a small-town, second-chance romance with some celebrity fanfare added in and you have Coach.

Ford and Millie’s were best friends in college. And just when they tried to take things further, Ford ghosted her.

Ford is moving back to his college roots and becoming the head football coach. However, he doesn’t know that Millie is the assistant AD (Athletic Director) and in a round-about way, his boss.

Ford is a determined individual who stops at nothing to get what he wants. I loved his tenacity yet also understood Millie’s apprehension. He took all of her feelings into consideration but still never gave up.

Millie is devoted to her job, she loves what she does. It’s what she always wanted to do. Ford crushed her once before and she’s not ready to put her trust in him again. She also isn’t willing to lose her job for him. And I love that she stands her ground and lets him know where she stands.

I enjoyed how Devney written this story. It all flows beautifully and you can see chemistry between them so vividly. I absolutely loved Ford and Millie so much; they complimented one another in so many ways.

Coach is another phenomenal stand-alone romance from Devney and one that you need to read!

If This Is Love is probably one of the most the best, slow-burn romances I have read in a while.

Talk about your forbidden romance with so much angst and chemistry!! However, this book will not be everyone’s cup of tea.

Jewel is known for writing stories that are original and unique. And this one is no different. But this is just one of the many reasons I love her stories. The characters are multi-faceted, their story will stand out from others and readers will undoubtedly feel very strongly about the book.

I’m just going to leave you with some quotes that I loved:

“How do you know if someone loves you?”
“A look. A touch. Sometimes it’s just a feeling.”

If this is love, why is it wrong?
If this is love, what can’t we be together?
