Anti-hero is also my first book by Sara Cate. And I’ve gotta admit – I picked a damn phenomenal one. She earned a fan in me immediately.
I don’t even know where to begin on my love of this book. I loved everything about this book from the plot, to the characters, to the impeccable writing that just brings this story to life.
Sara Cate truly knows how to give not only her story many layers, but her characters. I love how this story flowed and how everything played out in the most natural and realistic way. Her writing truly breathed life into these characters and their story.
Sage and Adam may be complete opposites in every single way possible, but they also brought out the best (and dirtiest) in one another. The revelations (pun intended 😉) that each of them had as this story progressed was another layer to discovering who they were and what they wanted.
Sara blends everything in this book (suspense, spice, angst, drama, rollercoaster emotions) perfectly to deliver one hell of an intriguing and authentic story. You will love Sage and Adam’s story and be begging for more once it’s over.
