Blitz is the second book in Devney’s Treasure State Wildcats series and can be read as a complete standalone.

I had been looking forward to Toren’s book after meeting him in Coach and Devney delivered exactly what I wanted.

Toren and Jennsyn’s story started out with the best bang and flowed wonderfully from there. The angst that comes with a forbidden college romance was delivered perfectly. I enjoyed how their sports were intertwined into the story and helped add to their tension.

Overall, Blitz played out beautifully. I was not a big fan of the ending but loved that everything came full circle.

Well, hot damn!

I truly had no expectations going into this book. I have not read the previous two books and didn’t even read the blurb before reading this. The cover caught my eye and I love Susan’s writing, so I just wanted to read it. LOL

Hart of Redemption moves at a fast pace and contains lots of drama and action that will keep readers right at the edge of their seats the entire time. But what truly rocked me was Duke and the love he had for his family. He put them first, no matter what; his loyalty is unmatched.

Duke and Fallyn are both complex characters and watching things explode between them as the story progresses was just another great layer to this fantastic story. Their chemistry is undeniable and that push and pull between because neither wanted to act on their feelings was like adding fuel to an already raging fire. LOVED IT!!!

I could go on and on about this book – it is that damn good. Susan wrote a phenomenal book and I can’t wait to read the first two.

Great start to this new series! These two authors set the stage for what is to come in this series and they did it wonderfully.

Moonlit Thorns is a unique retelling of the fairytale, Beauty and the Beast. I have read quite a few fairy tale retellings and this is definitely one of my favorites.

The story between Asher and Annabelle plays out so natural and beautifully. I enjoyed that readers are kept on their toes with how these two reacted to one another each time they are thrust together.

Yes, this a dark romance with BDSM, but it’s on the lighter side of that. I know dark readers will still enjoy the overall vibe that P. Rayne brings to this story, but if readers who aren’t into super dark reads or the elements of BDSM, this is definitely on the lighter side and would be a great “taste” to see if it’s to your liking.

P. Rayne does a great job of creating this town and the vibes around the Voss family and their history. I love all the nuances they have added in and giving hints at what is to come with each brother. The interactions between everyone was great and just added another layer to the story.

I already know that I am going to thoroughly enjoy this series and the Voss brothers very much.

Sizzle is the first book in the Remington Rescue Squad series and my first Kimberly Kincaid book and I definitely understand why she was recommending to me.

Sam and Lucy both work at the fire department but could not be any more opposite. She’s a rule follower, do things by the book and he sort of goes by instinct and follows his gut.

Kimberly writes a flawless story filled with lots of emotion and truly knows how to keep readers glued to the pages of this story. The romance and the suspense blend well and give that full body story I really enjoy. I enjoyed the intensity of the plot and how everything flowed very well.

A great start to this series and definitely a great first read for me from this author.
