I discovered Emma Hart not too long ago and I have been in love with her books ever since.

The Roommate Agreement is friends to lover trope, but I absolutely love Emma’s take on this one. It’s natural progression that you know is bound to happen, but it’s how it all plays out that makes this books so enjoyable.

Emma definitely knows how to blend the perfect amount of humor into a book and make it this perfect romantic comedy. The sarcasm, banter and overall vibe from this book is so tangible, it feels so life-like.

Shelby and Jay have been best friends for over 20 years. Jay is left needing a place to stay (naturally we all rely on our best friends) but his ability to actually adult, drives Shelby insane. So she creates The Roommate Agreement and idea stolen from her fave show (and mine), The Big Bang Theory. And things progress from there – but not in the way you make think.

The Roommate Agreement is very charming and hilarious with characters you can’t help but love. There isn’t a thing I would change about this book. Emma nails it all perfectly – I was laughing throughout the whole book, relating to the characters and just flat-out truly enjoying the hell out of this story.

Emma Hart does it again – delivers a story with the perfect blend of romance, quirkiness, amazing characters that you want to become your best friends.
