This is only the second book I have ever read by Karla Sorensen. Why has no one ever recommended her books to me before?!? WHY???

The Lie is another smashing hit for me from Karla. I could not read this book fast enough. I loved these characters so much; I love, love, love Faith – she just made me smile so hard so much. Gah! LOVE HER!! Dominic had me on edge at the beginning. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about him in the end. But I definitely warmed up to him as the story progressed.

I loved everything about this book. The romance, all the feels but also the tidbits of angst thrown in. And the banter – so much amazing banter between Faith and Dominic. I loved the cute “you’ve got mail” twist in this story. It was a nice addition to the story.

I could tell that there characters from other series in this book, but it did not effect this story in any way. If anything, it just makes me want to go back and read those stories.

Karla has truly earned herself another fan and reader in me. I love that this story was so much more than a sports romance. I enjoyed the family aspects, the growth in these characters and how genuine everything felt. Karla truly knows how write a story with many layers and weave them altogether beautifully. I cannot wait for the next book!!

he Junior is Monica’s next book in her College Years series. Each book can be read as a standalone as each focus on one couple each time. However, all characters make appearances in each book. I personally would recommend reading The Sophomore before reading this one to get a better understanding of Caleb and Gracie and how they got to where they are at the start of this book.

The Junior was definitely not a let down when it came to the sexual tension and banter between Caleb and Gracie. The angst was off the charts with the push and pull between these two. I really can’t say too much without giving a lot away.

Monica wrote this book beautifully. She kept her characters solid and yet also showed their growth to. I loved that she never made them who they weren’t, just to make a storyline.

The Junior is another great addition to the College Years and I cannot wait for The Senior to release.

I really enjoyed this story and was fairly glued to my kindle while reading this, but there were small snippets that didn’t work for me.

Julian I hate as I much I loved. And you really need to read this one to understand why. He truly made himself out of nothing and now he wants to make his company go public. However, he needs to clean up his image and his company has hired the best to do just that. Little do they know, that Julian and Autumn have a past.

Autumn has grown into a powerful woman in her own right. She’s no longer the little girl that pined after her brother’s best friend. But is she ready for Julian – a man she once knew?? Autumn may have hardened herself but we all have our weaknesses.

Monica truly wrote a very angsty and emotional story. This story took me by surprise in so many ways. I won’t give any plot details away, just know that you are in for quite a ride. Julian and Autumn put me through the ringer and I enjoyed every moment of it.

Tin Queen is the final book in the Tin Gypsy series and surprisingly, my favorite in the whole series. Yea, even I did not think that could happen, but Devney has once again blown me away with her story telling.

Each book in this series is about one particular couple, but you need to read each book in order to have a full understanding and grasp of an overall plot throughout each book. And Tin Queen is Emmett and Nova’s story.

All you need is the blurb – knowing anything more will be giving too much away. Tin Queen was so much more than I had expected. Just when I thought I had things figured out, Devney would pull another twist and slap me in the face. I enjoyed every single word of this book.

As much as I wanted to devour this book (and I still did but I held back), I knew at the end that I would also be saying goodbye to these characters. I have loved this world that Devney created and these characters became like family to me.

Tin Queen is the perfect ending to this series. Devney holds nothing back and delivers punch after punch in this one. I couldn’t have imagined a better ending.
