I absolutely love Ali’s writing style and after reading her The Love Hypothesis series and seeing this was a paranormal story, I did not hesitate at all to jump on this one.

Ali delivers a very entertaining paranormal romance about forced marriage. I FREAKING LOVE Misery and Lowe and their entanglement. Everything between them unfolded exceptionally well and left me wanting more each time.
This is completely outside Ali’s normal STEM based books but she knocks this book out of the park. Her writing ability is uncanny and I absolute love that I am so easily able to picture each scene in my head.

Scarlett is not your typical heiress. Yes, she realizes how fortunate she is, however, she doesn’t want to be known for that. She wants to be relatable to the every day individual. And when she is provided an opportunity to live outside the life of her Lancaster, she takes that opportunity, with a bit of hesitancy though.
Monica does a wonderful job of letting this story play out naturally. But with saying that, certain revelations seem quite fast and the characters address this very well. I found this story to be authentic in so many ways yet very entertaining for readers. There is very light drama and is all handled well.
Just when I thought this series would wrap up with this book, Monica delivers a cliffy like that and now I am not so patiently waiting for book four.
Mia seeks revenge. Mia demands answers. But her growth in this book is just as monumental as is her journey for answers.
Quinn, Quinn, Quinn. This man is unequivocally devoted to Mia. He will protect her with all that he is and burn down the world trying.
These two go through alot and we as readers get to see those walls come down with one another. And the way this unfolds into this story is perfect.
I am purposely being vague with this review. I thoroughly enjoyed this book because I truly had no idea what to expect, outside of the blurb (and obviously reading the previous two books).
Monica does a phenomenal job of blending the suspense aspects of this story with the romantic portions. It all flows wonderfully and gives the story those multiple layers we crave as readers that helps us empathize with the characters.
This series is phenomenal and while I hate waiting for a fourth book, I am so excited it’s not over yet!!

Sizzle is the third book in the Ashton Family series and I absolutely loved Liam and Gabrielle’s story.
Carrie does a great job of writing a forbidden romance that really resonated with readers. The growth we see in Liam and Gabrielle makes this story all the more authentic.
I am not going to tell you what happens – read the blurb and you’ll get all the information you need. Or don’t and just know that you are going to get a woman who keeps her guard up and a man who’s determined to win her over.

Teagan Hunter is always an auto read for me and I could not wait to devour Face Off and devour, I did.
I absolutely loved this grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers sports romance. And this title could not be any more perfect to describe the development of this story between Rory and Lawson.
Who knew I would love Lawson, the founder of the Serpent Singles Club, so much. And Rory was the perfect match for him. Her grumpy exterior and “refuses to discuss feelings” attitude were like a beacon for Lawson to bring his sunshine, happy attitude into her world. These two are the perfect example for opposites attract. But it also helps that Lawson was determined to show her who he really is and not who she thinks he is.
The banter between Rory and Lawson is perfection; it just added another layer to the connection these two had. And the heat between these two -woah – it is spiiiiicy!! This book was perfection in the swoony department with very minimal angst.

I Wish You Were Mine is the second book in the Harbour Village series.
I was super excited for Tuck and Maren’s story after “meeting” them both in the first book. This book can easily be read as a standalone as we just got glimpses of them in I Wish I Knew Then, but it was enough to pique reader’s interests.
The blurb is all you need to know to jump into this one. I loved the immediate chemistry that readers will easily see from the get-go. Jessica allows this story to play out naturally and the flow is a perfect pace.
I really enjoyed the banter between Tuck and Maren; their conversations flowed as though they had been together for years. Don’t even get me started on how they melted into one in the bedroom. Phew. But one perfect part of this story is Katie – she will melt your heart.
Overall, this was a sweet and swoony read.

HOT DAMN!!! These two ladies can write freaking phenomenal dark stories with amazing characters.
You MUST read One Kill before reading One Love – no ifs, ands or buts on this one.
We were left one hell of a cliffhanger in One Kill and I honestly wasn’t sure if these two ladies could give J the ending she so rightly deservers. Boy, was I completely wrong.
I won’t give any of the story details away but if you are looking to reading this book, then you know what happened at the end of One Kill and well, shit just keeps hitting the fan.
There is zero shortage of action and suspense in this book. There is also of spice (HOLY HOT!!!) and I thoroughly enjoy how everything plays out – EVERYTHING. I have zero complaints about this duet.
I love that these two ladies keep J real and authentic and never change her, even when things get complicated and dicey for her.
The amount of layers and the depth to these characters is perfection. These two ladies truly know how write a captivating story with characters you can’t ever forget.

Predictably, when I show up on set, the guys give me a ton of shit for my “sappy” birthday message.
“Look what I dug up online.” Rudy smirks as he holds out his cell phone while we are assembled around one long table in the cafeteria eating breakfast.
“Where the hell did you get that?” I swipe the phone from his hands so I can look at the picture up close. It was taken the night we attended our first Harry Potter premiere together, and I remember it as if it was yesterday.
“It’s amazing what you can find when you google shit. There are tons of pics of you and Viv from when you were kids. I see what you mean now. There’s no way you can hide your relationship from fans, and I don’t think you should. You two are the ultimate Hollywood love story. I think fans will eat that shit up.” A fake swoony expression coasts over his face as he places one hand over his heart. “Even my cynical ass believes in the dream.”
Pity my agent and the studio publicist don’t share that sentiment. I have tried making the same argument, but they are not listening to me.
Siobhan Davis, you truly know how to captivate and keep your readers wanting more.
Reeve is a companion novel to the All of Me series and must be read after you’ve read the previous three books. This story was nowhere close to what I expected and made me see Reeve in a new light.
This book is an emotional roller coaster, as is this entire series. Even though I knew the outcome, I was still one thousand percent invested in this book. It gave me an even deeper appreciation for Reeve and made Mr fall in love with him all over again.
Siobhan delivered a story that her readers will absolutely love and appreciate that it’s not just a retelling; it’s Reeve’s life. It’s 70% new material and so much better than you can imagine.

I will be honest and say that this is a tough one for me to review. I struggled to get into this story from the beginning. I could not connect to any of the characters and that’s where I found it lacking.
This is definitely a plot driven book, but the characters were very one-dimensional and that hurt the story in areas.
I absolutely love the idea and concept behind this story. There were parts of this story that I enjoyed and those made me want to continue on. However, there were other parts that just dragged and that’s when I struggled to stay focused on this book.
