Carrie did a brilliant job of writing these two characters. They’re both very independent and strong-willed but together, they’re absolutely amazing.
Jack has always been confident in himself, except when it comes to Taylor. She keeps him on his toes in various ways.
Taylor has a very determined personality but she’s also fragile. She’s had her trust broken and her safety shaken. She’s always been able to find security in Jack, no matter what.
Carrie delivered a heartwarming story with some mild drama that is quickly taken care of. The characters handle things (mostly) like the mature adults they are & when they don’t, there’s others to knock sense into them.
Once Forbidden, Twice Shy is a quick second-chance, romance that’ll readers will thoroughly enjoy, start to finish.
