Release Day Blitz & Review…The Mysterious One by Marni Mann

The Mysterious One by Marni Mann is now live!

A spicy grumpy-sunshine, age-gap, close-proximity romance from USA Today best-selling author Marni Mann …

I’m the mysterious one. The angriest alphahole who never bends. And she’s the woman who will bring me to my knees.

As the executive chef and face of my family’s billion-dollar empire, time is the one luxury I don’t have. With endless responsibilities and nonstop demands, I lost my passion and love for the art of cooking. What used to be my dream job is now my worst nightmare. I was ready to walk away and give up everything we’d built …

Until Alivia happened.

She was supposed to be a temporary diversion so we could satisfy each other’s desires and then never see each other again …

Yet I knew she was different right away. A woman who was my complete opposite, the calm to my storm. The sunshine to my darkness. With a body that left me speechless.

What I didn’t see was how much we both craved a break.
Me from a career that would eventually kill me, her from an abusive home life.

When two people in pain connect, an explosion erupts. That was us. All fire and longing, mixed with a genuine need to seek shelter in one another’s arms.

While I’m still savoring the taste of her on my lips, I see her again unexpectedly and wonder … is our connection enough to surpass the secrets between us, or were we only meant to have those two nights together?

I do believe Walker just became my favorite Weston sibling.

This book started off with fire in so many ways and continued to keep glued to the pages.

The chemistry between Walked and Alivia is immediate from the start. I love how these two both go into this with the expectations of no strings and neither expects more when it’s over. However, neither can let the other far from their mind.

Marni wrote the perfect untouchable Brute in Walker, but created the ideal match for him with Alivia. Their banter and her ability to be so blunt with him created a perfect harmony for them. These two are far from different walks in life, are total opposites in disposition, and yet they somehow are what the other one needs.

A definite must-read!!

This was a gripping retelling of Sweeney Todd.

I was hooked from start to finish with this book.

On Edge is the perfect title for this book as I felt like I was on edge from start to finish.

I will say that this book started off feeling like I was missing something at first, but then I realized as I continued reading, that was part of the whole mystery and suspense of this story.

The vibes that Mallory gave off with her writing and the entire goth setting – yea, it just set the stage for a great story. The twists and turns and the building romance – everything was paced perfectly and flowed flawlessly.

Definitely a recommended read for anyone who loves dark or gothic romance.

This is the second book in this series, but focuses on Freya and Xander.

Neither of these two are looking for any sort of relationship. But as the story progresses, it’s impossible for these two to not want more from the other.

What I enjoyed most about this book was the maturity of these two characters. I loved how this relationship just blossomed and moved naturally.

It is told in 3rd person POV, which tends to be a struggle for me sometimes, and I think was a drawback on my connecting to the characters overall, but I still really enjoyed this story.

A really good addition to this series.

Release Day Blitz & Review…Loving The Tormentor

Loving The Tormentor by Lola King is now live!

A dark bully romance from best-selling author Lola King

She dreams of being noticed by her idol. He needs a muse to torment.

Once a decade, my broken hometown spits out a good girl.

Everyone always made sure to point out that it’s me. The violinist who doesn’t belong. The girl mocked for dreaming too big, for believing I can escape the gangs, the debts, and the crimes of the North Shore.

All I want is one thing: a spot at Silver Falls University, where they house the most elite music school in the country. The place where my idol studies.

Achilles Duval is a legend. A genius. A man whose music could break your heart before he ever touched your body. I’ve followed him for years, obsessed with the chance of one day having him hear me play. His notorious arrogance means nothing when I dream of him noticing me.

And he does notice me.
But not in the way I hoped.

Because Achilles isn’t just brilliant. He’s dangerous. Untouchable. A man born with power, privilege, and no limits. His reputation barely scratches the surface of what he really is.

He’s not an idol. He’s a monster.

And once Achilles Duval sets his eyes on you, there’s no walking away unscathed.

They say never meet your heroes.
They should have warned me about Achilles.

Loving The Liar is a dark romance intended for readers over 18. Please, read the CW in the book.
This is the third book in a series of 3 interconnected standalones

Lola King has won me over as a reader and has been added to my one-click reads. This series has blown me away.

The emotions and feelings this book evokes is unreal. It is a slow-burn and please heed the triggers because Lola doesn’t sugarcoat anything.

I think that is what I loved best about this book – the real and rawness to this story.

Nyx & Achilles story is messy, chaotic, but beautiful. It’s so them.

And the writing – Lola’s writing is something entirely unique and I love it. It’s smooth and graceful and just flows beautifully.

I need more from this author.

Release Day Blitz & Review…Sweet Addiction by Bella Matthews

Sweet Addiction by Bella Matthews is now live!

From #1 Amazon and USA Today Bestselling Author Bella Matthews comes an enemies to loversforced proximitysports romance.

Rome Beneventi is a walking, talking bad decision—six feet, five inches of tattoos, temptation, and trouble wrapped in a smirk and dipped in sin. This MMA champion should come with a warning label . . . or at the very least a disclaimer.
I sell books, and he breaks bones.
We are not on the same page.

At least not until he discovers my secret and instead of keeping it, blackmails me into fake dating him.

Now I’m living in his house.
Lying to my family and friends.
Playing nice for the cameras.
And trying not to melt every time he calls me “baby” like it’s more than a show.

I told myself I’d never fall for him.
That I was too smart to love the devil in designer clothes.
But the thing about enemies?
Sometimes they’re the only ones who see you clearly.

And faking it with Rome Beneventi?
Yeah . . . it stopped feeling fake a long time ago.

Sweet Addiction, indeed.

This book was very addictive and I was enraptured by this story from start to finish.

Rome is an MMA, and a very good one at that. Dillan hates him and wants nothing to do with him.

Bella writes and explosive story chemistry-wise but delivers it with angst and great banter. The pacing was perfect the fake-dating trope – perfect for this setting.

If you haven’t read any of Bella’s books yet – what are you waiting for!?!
