Til the Last Lyric is the conclusion to Life of Debachery duet by M. Robinson and she did not let us down.

We really got to know Cash in book 1 on how he got to be where he is today and what he has gone through and continue to battle daily. But what was missing (at least for me) was Journey’s story and we definitely got that in book 2.

Journey is truly the guiding light in this story. She makes Cash want to be a better man, partner and face the demons that have haunted him for years. All for her. But as time progresses, even years beyond Journey’s young age, she realizes that Cash needs to do all this for no one but himself. Until that happens, he will never move forward. That maybe the love between them can’t overshadow the demons that plague him daily.

This story is full of surprises, trials and tribulations between Cash and Journey. This book will drain you emotionally, but it is so worth it. It is riddled with love, lost, hurt, hope and a myriad of other emotions that make this story so realistic.

I cannot urge readers enough to read this duet. Cash and Journey’s story was so much more than I had anticipated. Their story will consume you and leave you with happy tears rolling down your cheeks.

My Review:

The 16^th Book in Christine Feehan’s Ghostwalker Series, Lethal Game does not disappoint. Malichai Fortunes epitomizes the professional solider, chiseled and full of heart ,who cares deeply about his mission and the men of his unit. Wounded during a desperate rescue mission that opens the book, he suffers repeated consequences that not only frame the love and passion he eventually feels for the mysterious Amaryllis, but also his spirit and that of the Ghostwalker’s themselves. Amaryllis is beautiful and caring, but a mysterious somewhat aloof figure who Malichai woos in a sweetly romantic way. Their heat blooms slowly grounding readers in a reality that works with the fabric of the book. Now well established the Ghostwalker lore is intricate and more a possibility in today’s world of genetics and science than ever before. That well written backstory compounded with impeccable research and detail on the US military provide context that makes the whole thing just FEEL true. While Lethal Game is still romantic fantasy, this gritty love story and the rich detail about our fighting forces make it engrossing. I can’t wait for her next book.

My review:

A new book from two of my favorite authors? YES, PLEASE!

From the very first chapter of The Wife Stalker, I knew the dynamic writing duo of Liv Constantine had done it again. As soon as I dove into this story, I was on the edge of my seat. The push and pull in emotion I felt between the two central women in the story, Piper and Joanna, didn’t let up and I wasn’t sure who I was pulling for to “get the guy” right up until the very end. But when we finally reached that end? What a doozy it was! One I never saw coming and had me reading the final chapter mouth agape. Talk about a twist! This is a book I will be recommending every chance I can get along with Liv Constantine’s previous two releases.

With twists at every turn and a cast of characters sure to keep you guessing until the very end, this is a must read for fans of any genre!

Madam Temptress is the conclusion to The Magnolia Duet and is just as magnificent as the first book. I devoured this book and never wanted it to end.

Magnolia and Moses hold a very special place in my heart. I have a complete girl crush on Magnolia. She is fierce and a kickass woman in every way. And Moses, well the fact that I went from hating this man to truly finding him to be on the best men, that really says something. These two are the King and Queen of New Orleans.

This duet is probably my favorite out of every series or duets she has written and that is saying ALOT. I can honestly say I was not really all that gun-ho in the beginning because of my hatred for Moses, but Meghan does what she does best and delivers a story line that will have you completely going 180 on a character. I am so unbelievably happy that I still read this duet (and it was because of Magnolia that I did) but these two won me over so much.

Meghan truly knows how to weave a very suspenseful story with the perfect mix of romance and steam. I loved every single aspect of this book (and duet). The entire story flowed beautifully and there was never a slow down or confusing parts that took away from what was going on.

I am going to say it – Meghan may have written her best work to date with this series. She only gets better and better with each one and I cannot wait to see what she brings us next.

Meghan has gone back to New Orleans with her new duet and I could not be more excited. And I think Meghan may have out done herself with this one.

If you read Meghan’s previous trilogies, Mount Trilogy and Legend Trilogy, then you would have met both Magnolia and Moses (Magnolia in Mount Trilogy and Moses in Legend Trilogy). However, you do not need to read either of those to understand their story and truly get to know who they are. Meghan tells their story hauntingly beautiful in this book and gives us a lot to look forward in the next one.

Magnolia and Moses both had rough childhoods. Magnolia took control of her life by using her best assets and created an empire with it. Moses was a gangster who’s returned to his old stomping grounds and only he knows why he left to begin with; why he left Magnolia 15 years earlier. But Magnolia doesn’t easily forget and she has 15 years of animosity, hurt and anger to unleash. However, Moses is a man that never gives up til he gets what he wants. And he wants to make Magnolia his.

Meghan truly delivers an suspenseful yet steamy story. Magnolia is one hell of a fierce heroine that many of us will have a girl crush on. I was not a fan of Moses in the Legend Trilogy so he had a huge mountain to climb for me. But damn, did he destroy that mountain and surprise me in so many ways. I cannot wait to see how Meghan’s ends their story – I have chills just thinking about it!!
