I’m not worried; I’m a
doctor now too, board-certified and sexy in a white coat. It almost feels like winning will be too
easy—until Lucas unveils a tactic neither of us has ever used before: sexual
warfare.
The day he pushes me up against the wall and presses his lips to
mine, I can’t help but wonder if he’s filling me with passion or poison. Every
fleeting touch is perfect torture. With every stolen kiss, my walls crumble a little more. After all
this time, Lucas knows exactly how to strip me of my defenses, but I’m in no hurry to
surrender.
Knowing thy enemy has never felt so good.
Once again, I am going to be in the minority with this book. I wanted to love this book so much. I really did.
Let me preface this first by saying I am huge R.S. Grey fan. I love her books and I really enjoy her writing. This is my first (and hopefully only) book that I just couldn’t get into. I am huge enemies to lovers, when the story is told well.
Daisy and Lucas have grown up together and have always been competitive with another one. Trying to outdo the other. They both go off to college and med school and Daisy is able to avoid him during all that time, even with return trips home. Now Daisy is moving back home with the hopes of taking over the local family practice. Then she learns that Lucas is also going to be working there too. And so beings that competition as adults – well at least for Daisy it’s a competition.
I think Lucas was the only one of the two who actually grew up. Daisy just irked me with her high school antics. I truly wanted to slap her upside head quite a lot. Lucas was beyond amazing and definitely have more patience than anyone I know.
You can sense the tension and friction between them but also the attraction too. I did love the hate fucking but I had a hard time with HEA for these two. It just seemed like all of sudden Daisy pulled her head out of her ass and realized she was 28 and not 18. And that high school dance scene – I won’t even go there. It just proves my point of her not acting her age.
Overall, it was just an ok book for me. I most likely won’t remember this story in a few months and I hate that. I love R.S. and will continue to read her books. This book just wasn’t for me.

It’s the start of nothing good.
I fired off a storm of raunchy text messages…to the wrong number.
And he replied.
Him: Show me a picture.
Him: Tell me your name.
Why does the lure of anonymity have me craving to indulge a stranger?
It’s the start of everything right.
I received a slew of text messages…when everything in my life was wrong.
And she made me laugh again.
Her: You’re probably a creeper.
Her: Possibly a stalker.
Why do I have the overwhelming need to find this stranger who saved me and make her mine?
Him: Take a chance with me.
Her: This is crazy.
Him: I need to see you.
Her: What are we doing?
Him: We’re about to find out.

So I am probably going to be in the minority with this book. Text 2 Lovers was just ok for me for various reasons.
I was curious to read Text 2 Lovers after reading the blurb. There was a book not long ago that I read where their relationship started off with a wrong text and I really liked their story. So I had high hopes of really enjoying this book. While I did enjoy parts of it, I was slightly let down.
Text 2 Lovers is about Ram and Dani who become acquainted because of a text to a wrong number. Love the concept but I didn’t like that the reason behind the wrong text was exactly the same as the other book I had read. To me, personally, if felt like they had taken that author’s idea and copied it into their story. I wish they would have made it like a wrong number due to misinterpreting numbers or something along those lines. So right there, I was already tempted to stop. But, I wanted to give this book a chance.
Everything is going great between Dani and Ram. And that’s where it should have ended. The way their story continues just didn’t sit well with me. It felt like they needed a dramatic moment to add something to the book where I thought Dani and Ram’s story was perfect. Yes, it would be a novella, but I felt it was cute story.
The only redeeming part to this book for me is Roman and Andie. These two had me in stitches when they had to interact with one another. Andie is a spitfire and Roman it seems is up for the challenge she provides. I am excited to read their story because I know it will be hilarious and full of fire.
If you’ve never read any books where the relationship starts off with a wrong text, then you will enjoy this book. The writing is great and the authors do a great job of writing this characters. However, if you’re like me and have read a book with this same idea, you may not enjoy it as much.

I knew from the first time I saw Marc Kirby that I was screwed.
Big eyes, scruffy face, brown curls – yes, yes, and yes. The man is wicked hot.
He’s also my roommate, and since I work nights and he’s at class all day – it’s like living alone at half the rent.
Then an unexpected night off turns into an unexpected morning in Marc’s bed, but it turns out we can’t even figure out the screwing.
This is not great news for Marc who’s going on a “bangcation” at the end of the summer – a whole month in France that he’s planned to spend getting busy with the women of Paris.
It’s also not great news for me for obvious reasons.
With both of us needing work on our skills, there’s only one logical solution to our predicament.
Told you I was screwed.

Lucas Thatcher has always been my enemy.
It’s been a decade since I’ve seen him, but our years on opposite coasts were less of a lasting peace and more of a temporary cease-fire. Now that we’re both back in our small town, I know Lucas expects the same old war, but I’ve changed since high school—and from the looks of it, so has he.
The arrogant boy who was my teenage rival is now a chiseled doctor armed with intimidating good looks. He is Lucas Thatcher 2.0, the new and improved version I’ll be competing with in the workplace instead of the schoolyard.
I’m not worried; I’m a doctor now too, board-certified and sexy in a white coat. It almost feels like winning will be too easy—until Lucas unveils a tactic neither of us has ever used before: sexual warfare.
The day he pushes me up against the wall and presses his lips to mine, I can’t help but wonder if he’s filling me with passion or poison. Every fleeting touch is perfect torture. With every stolen kiss, my walls crumble a little more. After all this time, Lucas knows exactly how to strip me of my defenses, but I’m in no hurry to surrender.
Knowing thy enemy has never felt so good.
I am a lover of books, chocolate, reality TV, black labs, and cold weather. Seriously, if I had it my way I would be curled up on the couch with all of those things… everyday.
I live in Texas where I spend my free time writing and reading. My favorite authors are Mindy Kaling & Jonathan Safran Foer. I’m a comedy geek and love all things “funny”. Women like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Mindy Kaling are definitely the biggest inspirations for my writing, though I think my work tends to skew a bit smuttier than theirs.
True love can’t be strategized.
After book blogger Vivian Galdi’s longtime crush pretends their secret summer kissing sessions never happened, Vivian creates a list of safecrushes, determined to protect her heart.
But nerd-hot Dallas, the sweet new guy in town, sends the mission and Vivian’s zing meter into chaos. While designing software for the bookstore where Vivian works, Dallas wages a counter-mission.
Operation Replacement Crush is in full effect. And Dallas is determined to take her heart off the shelf.
So I decided to take a chance on a new YA author (new to me) and was pleasantly surprised but what I got.
This is a very sweet and funny read. Vivian is a book blogger and works in a bookstore with her mom (perfect!). But after her heart is crushed by the boy she’s been messing around with during the summer, she’s determined to never allow that to happen again.
Dallas is the new guy in town and is hired by Viv’s mom to help with the computer system. There’s an instant attraction between them but Viv is persistent and not allowing her heart to be broken again and keeps her distant.
While there were so moments that had me roll my eyes because her mission became a bit boring, overall I enjoyed this book. It was funny and innocent and the characters made me laugh at their interactions. While the whole scenario may not be realistic, it allows the reader to have a great laugh and enjoy a nice read.
He’s her patient. She’s his doctor. They shouldn’t. But God, do they want to.
Camden Harris, the famously hot, hulk of a footballer is laid up in a London hospital. But his busted knee doesn’t stop him from running his well-practiced game on Indie Porter—his redheaded spitfire of a doctor. She’s not his type, not even close. But she could be the perfect distraction from the soul-crushing damage this injury could cost him.
Indie’s tired of her naivety putting a target on her back. As a gifted child, she’s let her education take the front seat her whole life. But a fling with a footballer like Camden might be just what she needs to grab life by the balls.
And he could be the perfect guy for the plan she’s been sitting on for over two years.
But when feelings make a final play, there’s no amount of medicine that can heal the damage to their hearts.
