Book Description
Jalynn
I’m the girl who’s always picking up the pieces of other people’s mistakes.
Until tonight.
I accidentally cause one false start, and now I’m being pulled into a guy’s car—who everyone only knows as Falcon—before an illegal street race.
He may not want anyone to truly know who he is, but he’s met his match.
Game on, Falcon.
Austin
People know I run these races.
They know not to mess with me, or my car.
When the identity of the girl who causes a false start is revealed, I have to make an example of her.
Letting her see who I am was never the plan.
Neither was running into her the next day as my brother’s new assistant.
She said she wanted nothing to do with me, but when I yank her into a janitor’s closet, making sure she keeps my secret is the last thing on my mind.
She may want more than my secrets, but my racing may be the last thing I try to hide.
For a sneak peek inside AUSTIN, check out this exclusive excerpt on Book + Main!

I have read quite a few books by Lauren Runow and jumped at the chance to read this one that she co-wrote with Jeannine Colette.

I love a good read with some adrenaline rush behind it so the blurb for his book hooked me immediately. Am I actually really happy that this did not read like a Fast and Furious style book. It stayed true to the aspects of street racing (which I may or may not have been a part of when I was younger) and I enjoyed that is was not too sensationalized.

Austin Sexton has also felt this need to escape and running his mother’s company with his brother doesn’t give him that thrill. But his choice of street racing, isn’t exactly on the up and up, so he can’t let others know what he is up to. Only a select few know what he does and he wants to keep it that way.

Jalynn has always been the protector of her brother – been there to clean up his messes and keep on the right path. The night she joins him at a street race, she becomes more than just part of the crowd. She meets the the man behind the scenes up close and personal, but has no idea who he really is til she sees him the next day – in a place she never expected.

I love the bantering, the flirting and the chemistry between Austin and Jalynn. She definitely gives him a run for his money and puts him in his place a few times. There were a few scenes where I would have knocked him flat on his ass, but she still held her own. And I love that slowly, Austin lets his walls down around Jalynn but never gets too sappy either. Neither one lose who they really are once they realize what they really want.

I am excited to see what Jeannine and Lauren bring us next with the Sexton brothers.

Guilty As Sin by Meghan March…Release Day Blitz & Review

Guilty until proven innocent.

That’s the way the world works, right?

I’m tired of being convicted without evidence, all because my last name is Gable.

The Riscoffs might own this town, but I’m done following their rules.

If only I could forget just how easily Lincoln Riscoff can drag me under his spell.

AVAILABLE NOW

iBooks | Amazon US | Amazon UK | Amazon AU | Amazon CA | Kobo | BN

Guilty As Sin starts off where Richer than Sin ended and continues on with the dual POV’s of Whitney and Lincoln, along with flipping back and forth between past and present.

I have to say that Meghan really knows how to keep her readers vested in this story and begging for more.

We get to see more and more about the pasts of both the Gable and Riscoff families. But we also get to see why Whitney stayed with her cheating boyfriend and ended up marrying him. There is definitely no shortage of drama an angst in this book.

Meghan gives us small tidbits of information to lead us on a very entertaining journey, but also throws in a few twists to throw us off and keep things even more interesting.

And that ending – would it be wrong to say I cheered a bit (read to see why) but hated that it through another damn wrench into Lincoln and Whit’s destination of being together and now we are left waiting with bated breath to see where things go from here.

Bring on the final book!!

From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes a brand new saga of forbidden love and second chances.

A Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after. Our family feud is the stuff of legends.

Ten years ago, Whitney Gable caught me off guard with her long legs and grab-you-by-the-balls blue eyes.

I didn’t know or care what her name was.

Like any Riscoff worth the family name, I went after what I wanted. We burned like a flash fire until she married another man.

She hates me, and she should.

I objected on her wedding day.

Now she’s home, with those same long legs and man-eater stare, but there’s no ring on her finger.

They say a Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after . . . but I’m not done with Whitney Gable.

I’ll never be done with her.

iBooks | Amazon US | Amazon UK | Amazon AU | Amazon CA | Kobo | BN | Audible

Whitney Gable is the kind of woman you fight to the death to protect.

To keep.

To cherish.

I’ve finally learned my lesson, and it’s time to prove I’m the man who’s worthy of her.

I don’t care what it takes, because failure is not an option.

No matter who or what stands in our way—this time, she’ll be mine forever

THE TRUTH ABOUT US (The Truth Duet, #2)

Read it now:

Amazon US | Amazon UK | Amazon CA | Amazon AU

Synopsis:

Truth: Penn Walker entered my life like a summer storm—dark, ominous, and filled with thunder.

After witnessing my husband’s murder, I didn’t have much of a heart left to offer a man.

But Penn took it all.

Every jagged shard.

Every broken bit.

Even the dirty and twisted pieces that I wish never existed.

Lie: I didn’t need him to save me.

Lie: I knew exactly who he was.

Lie: Losing him wouldn’t destroy me.

But that’s the thing about lies—you never know who to believe.

“Truth or Lie.”

“One in. One Out.”

This epilogue was amazing!! There was definitely a lot more drama, tension and suspense in the second book than first and I had not expected that. I felt my heart pumping the whole time and devoured this book quickly.

“All of it was mine.
She was mine.
And in order to save her, I had to let her go.”

Aly definitely does not leave us short of any heartstrings being pulled along with the unknowing suspense of what was around the corner. Not only do I love these characters, but I felt myself being pulled into their world and staying there. I love when a book has some me engrained in it, that everything else is a blur to me.

There are parts about this book that I enjoyed more than the first and parts about the first that I enjoyed more than this one. It’s safe to say that both books are equally amazing and both deliver one whole hell of a great story. And she gives a nice little snippet of her next duet – hint hint.

I highly recommend this duet!!

SYNOPSIS

Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, something extraordinary comes along that knocks you on your ass…

“Wolf”
I’m a simple man with simple values. You either love me or you hate me, but the ones who need me, always got me. I’m the self-proclaimed Wolf of the Satan’s Knights MC, the beast who will fight his way out of any dark alley to defend your honor. The brother you call upon when you’ve lost your faith in humanity.
However, secrets and lies are the cancer of a man’s soul. Exposed, they will eat away all that is good and leave nothing but destruction in their wake. They’ll prove the best intentions sometimes fail and leave you questioning your life’s choices.
Now, searching for a purpose, I find myself facing the ride of my existence with a woman just as jaded as me. As she fights the biggest battle of her life, I want to be the man who stands by her side. The man who ain’t afraid to ride the edge of misery because he knows there is something beautiful on the other side…

“Maria”
I’ve prevailed against the mob, a deadbeat ex-husband and the woes of being a single mother. While someone else may have wished for a different life, I believe I’m stronger for everything I’ve endured. I’m someone who speaks her mind and fights for what is right. A woman who will smack you upside the head with a frying pan and ask questions later.
Terrified of love, I’m an otherwise fearless woman.
Until a doctor solemnly diagnoses me and my strength falters.
Now as fear engulfs me, an unexpected man dressed in leather, holds out his hand.
As a woman who never needed anyone, I suddenly need him.
His assurance.
His strength.
His love.

Excerpt

Every sinner has their day of judgment and apparently, today was my day in the Lord’s court.

Running my hand down Maria’s arm, I glance down at her, memorizing her soft features. Thankfully, she stopped crying a little while ago. There are few things in this world that I can’t bear to stand, and a woman’s tears isone of them. I used to think God had kept that in mind when he gave me three sons instead of a daughter. I was no match for a crying woman yet, Maria’s tears didn’t scare me. If anything, they compelled me to do right by her, to give what I knew very few had given her. I held her and let her be. I took her tears and gave her my shoulder while silently vowing to give her my ear when and if she felt like sharing.

“I’m sorry,” she whispers, lifting her head from my chest.

“Got nothing to be sorry for, Lady,” I reply, brushing my knuckles over her cheek. Lifting a hand, her fingers close around my wrist and for the briefest moment, she closes her eyes. I try not to read too much into it or allow myself to wonder falsely if I can help her through this. Going by experience, I’m the last man any woman wants in her life during the trying times.

“It’s just a lot, you know?”

Dropping her hand, she pulls away and turns her head. Keeping her eyes pinned to the cross, she draws in a deep breath. “I’m not telling anyone so if you could keep this between us, I’d appreciate that.”

Stretching my arms over the back of the pew, I stare at her in bewilderment.

“Your kids don’t know you had a biopsy?”

“No, they don’t.”

Snapping her gaze back to me, she gives me the same look she did when she told me to take off my boots, making it clear there is no room for argument.

“There is no sense in worrying them when it might be nothing,” she continues. “The earliest the pathology report will be available is Monday. After that, I’ll decide whether I need to tell them or not.”

Biting the inside of my cheek, I ignore the objection resting on my tongue and weigh my options. I’m not an expert on parenthood, far from it, but, knowing Lauren and Anthony, I think they would want to be made aware of the situation. Yeah, they’ll be devastated by the possibility but after the shock subsides, I think they’d want to be there for their mother.

On the other hand, Maria is going to do what Maria wants and damn anyone who stands in her way. If I took anything from the conversation we shared last night, it’s that she isn’t a woman who leans on others. She stands alone in a storm and if I hadn’t walked into this chapel, I would be in the dark just like her children.

My eyes dart to the cross and I can’t help but wonder if finding her in here was more than a simple coincidence. Maybe he does exist. Maybe he speaks to us in ways we don’t understand.

Turning my attention back to her, I watch her rise toher feet.

“What are you doing?”

“I’ve taken up enough of your time and I should be getting home. The local anesthesia is starting to wear off and I should be taking it easy.”

“I’ll take you home.”

“No, I have my car here.”

“Lady, I wasn’t asking,” I say, pushing myself off the pew. Standing before her, I watch her lift her chin and stare up at me. The vast change in our height leaves me confused and I divert my eyes to the sensible flats covering her feet, needing validation as to why she suddenly seems fragile in my eyes.

“I appreciate that—”

“I’m taking you home, Maria and I’ll come back later for your car.”

“I swear I’m fine,” she starts to argue.

Placing a finger to her lips, I silence her.

“I know you’re fine,” I tell her. “But you can’t give me what you gave me and expect me to turn my cheek, Lady. I’m not wired like that just like you’re not wired to depend on anyone. Now, I know you’re used to doing things on your own and I respect that but, I’m here. Here, to hold you when you’re crying in a chapel. Here, to listen if you want to talk and here, whether you like it or not, I’m here to drive you home. There ain’t much I’m good at, but the ones who need me, always got me and you, Lady, you got me for as long as you need me.”

“Why?”

“Why what?”

“You…” she whispers, swallowing. “Why now?”

Understanding the question, I bend my head and brush my lips gently over hers.

“Now seems like just as good of a time as any,” I murmur, taking her hand in mine.

Interlocking our fingers, I lead her out of the pew. Freezing in her tracks, she gives my hand a squeeze and causes me to turn my head. Releasing her hold on me, she walks towards the row of candles in front of the chapel. I lean against the door and watch as she makes the sign of the cross and lights a candle. Sending a prayer to God, she bows her head and my eyes sweep back to the cross.

Make me a believer again.

Once she’s finished, she joins me at the back of the chapel and reaches for my hand. There are no words spoken between us as we leave the hospital and make our way to the Charger. I watch her wince as she draws the seatbelt against her chest and leansin to adjust the strap. She thanks me with her eyes and I move behind the wheel. The drive back to her house is just as quiet and when we reach her door, she breaks the silence.

“Thank you,” she says, leaning against the door. “I—what’re you doing?” she questions, diverting her eyes to my feet.

Bending my knees, I pull the laces on my boots.

“Open the door, Lady.”

It takes a moment for her to get her ass in gear but eventually she does as she’s told and opens the door. Stepping inside, she turns and watches as I follow her into the house. Closing the door behind me, I remove my boots and neatly set them on the mat before taking her hand.

“What are you doing, Al?”

What feels right.

Pulling her away from the door, I lead her through the house and towards her bedroom. Standing at the foot of the bed, I grunt as I take in the mountain of fancy pillows.

“Jesus Christ, Lady, you sure like your pillows,” I mutter, plucking them from the mattress.

“Al—”

“Is there a ritual or something you do with these things?”

“They’re pretty,” she answers.

“Yeah, they’re fucking stunning,” I grunt, piling them on the chair in the corner of the room. Done with that task, I turn down the comforter and lift my gaze to hers. “You got a nightgown or something you want to change into?”

“Al, I appreciate the ride—”

“I bet,” I tease.

“Funny,” she fires back.

“I thought so. Now, which drawer do you keep your nightgowns in?”

Sighing, she cocks her head to the side, drawing her bottom lip between her teeth.

“You’re not going to quit, are you?”

“No.”

“Will you leave after you tuck me in?”

“No.”

Truthfully, I had no intention of walking intothe house. I thought I’d drive her home, get rid of the rental and go back to the hospital to get her car. Maybe I’d check on her but that was it. It wasn’t until she was standing at the door, ready to dismiss me that I realized I couldn’t leave, that I didn’t want to.

Accepting my answer, she steps around me and opens the top drawer of her dresser. I watch her pull out a silk nightgown and step out of her shoes.

“Can you give me a minute?” she questions, twisting the silk between her fingers.

“Yeah,” I nod.

Swiping a hand over my face, I respect her need for privacy and start for the door. As I’m about to step into the hallway,a thought hits me and forces me to turn back to her.

“I don’t care.”

“Excuse me?”

“Had you under me, Lady, and I saw every inch of you,” I explain, standing in the doorway. “You don’t gotto hide from me. If you want your privacy, I’ll give that to you but don’t send me out of the room because you think I’m going to look at you any differently than I did last night. Trust when I say I’m itching to throw you up against that wall and fuck your brains out.”

In all my years, no truer words have left my lips.

I don’t know what this thing is between usif we’re just two lonely people finding comfort in one another or if it’s more. What I do know is that I’m not willing to forget last night happened. As far as I’m concerned, it was a prelude and there is more of that to be found—plenty more.  Am I the right guy for Maria—probably not, but I don’t want to walk out this door with just another notch in my belt.

I have a lot of adjectives I could use for this book but the one that come back to me time and time again was refreshing. Refreshing because not only does Ms. Bosco give you a love story but also a story full of suspense and hot, hot, hot love.

A couple of things that stand out for me the most in this book. First, the characters are in their forties, which I find amazing. This allows for them to know exactly what they want from life and it really pulls away from the nonsense that is found in some romantic books. Second, Wolf and Maria truly have “real life” problems that are sad and ugly but it is amazing how they deal with them. Which brings me to the third thing, not only do you get an Alpha male but Maria is strong and not at all backing down from any fight.

Janine Infante Bosco has this great ability to write a romance with suspense. It is not just about the sex scenes and the quick falling in love. I feel sometimes some authors throw in suspense or a mystery to add more to a book, which makes it seem like it was a second thought. Not with Janine’s stories. The romance and suspense go together like peanut butter and jelly. It flows.

She also writes the “ugly” side of a character in a beautiful way. They are flawed and you’ll love them for being flawed. You will love it more when the two come together.

I think this is such a great series that truly makes you feel invested in each character. Wolf and Maria are an amazing story.

A Love Letter From The Girls Who Feel Everything by Brittainy C. Cherry & Kandi Steiner….Release Day Blitz & Review

ALoveLetterCRbanner

“A Love Letter From the Girls Who Feel Everything reminds me of my favorite roller coaster . . . it was such an emotional ride—one I’m willingly going to take over and over again.”

– Dee Lagasse, author

A Love Letter From the Girls Who Feel Everything, a beautiful book of prose and poetry, by bestselling authors Brittainy C. Cherry & Kandi Steiner is LIVE!

Poetry_white cover

Bestselling authors Brittainy C. Cherry and Kandi Steiner come together for the first time in an emotional compilation of poetry and prose. Written and collected over the course of more than two years, A Love Letter from the Girls Who Feel Everything is an intimate, honest, and raw assemblage of two women’s feelings in a modern world that often quiets any kind of emotion past indifference.

Discussing themes of love, worth, loss and hope, A Love Letter from the Girls Who Feel Everything is a journey of discovery and healing.

“We are the girls who feel everything.

And this is our love letter. To you, to them, to us, to the world, to no one at all. Whether it’s the brightest, sunniest day where everything is perfect, or the darkest, dreariest night of rain where life seems unbearable — we have lived it, we have survived it, and we have felt every, blissful, aching second.

Here’s to embracing the feels, to the brave souls that listen to the way their hearts beat and aren’t afraid to ask someone else if they feel those same beats, too. Here’s to the girls, the boys, the love we sometimes share and the love we all-too-often conceal.

And more than anything, Reader — here’s to you.”

Kandi Teaser 2 (1).png

As much as I love reading, poems hasn’t ever really been a thing for me. But when I saw that Kandi Steiner was co-writing a book with another author, Brittainy C. Cherry (have not read her – don’t be upset!), I at least wanted to give it a go.

These poems were beautiful – some touched me more than others. Some spoke to my heart, others spoke to my mind. Some I just loved the poetic flow.

Even if you aren’t a fan of poems, I have no doubt that at least a few of these poetic words will touch you in some way.

This is one book that everyone should have in their repertoire of books.

Kandi Steiner:

Kandi Steiner is a bestselling author and whiskey connoisseur living in Tampa, FL. Best known for writing “emotional rollercoaster” stories, she loves bringing flawed characters to life and writing about real, raw romance — in all its forms. No two Kandi Steiner books are the same, and if you’re a lover of angsty, emotional, and inspirational reads, she’s your gal.

An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women’s Studies. She started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a diehard hopeless romantic, and likes to highlight all the challenges of love as well as the triumphs.

When Kandi isn’t writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys live music, traveling, anything heavy in carbs, beach days, movie marathons, craft beer and sweet wine — not necessarily in that order.

Meredith keeps on delivering a suspenseful and enticing plot. Just when you think things can’t get any more twisted or convoluted, Meredith throws in another curve ball and has you more on the edge of your seat.

You will find yourself completely vested in this plot, these characters and needing to know what happens next.

I know I am being absolutely vague as to what happens in this installment and that is on purpose. Every detail is an important part of how things are being played so any specific details may give away a huge part of the suspense and twists thrown at you.

All you need to know is that Tristan is still remembering parts of his past with Isabel and that these two are still making new discoveries as they find out the answers to some questions but left with even more.

This book felt the most intense since the first one and I loved it!! I cannot wait to see where this all leads to.

More Of You is the start of Amy’s next series and she proves again why is the queen of slow-burn angsty romances.

Jace and Faith are soul mates yet life and poor decisions keep them apart for ten years.  When Faith’s life is flipped upside down, Jace finds himself wanting to be there – to protect her and bring her back to life.

Amy blends a story of slow-burn romance with a little suspenseful story to keep readers intrigued.   The story moves at a slow pace but there is no lack on interest in all that’s going on.

More Of You is the start of a great series and I really hope we get to see more of these characters in the next books.

The Tenth Girl by Carrie Aarons…Release Day Blitz & Review

Title: The Tenth Girl
Author: Carrie Aarons
Genre: New Adult/Young Adult
Release Date: September 9, 2018
Blurb
Never play a game
you can’t win.
For Cain Kent, that rule is golden. Losing is not in his vocabulary, and up until
now, everything has come easy. Football, school, girls … his charm-laced ego
may just be bigger than Texas itself. The competition he started freshman year with his friends, to make ten notches
each in their bedposts by graduation day, is practically in the bag. One more
to go, and then it’s off to college fame and eventually, the big time.
Attachments aren’t something he wants to form, but when the quiet new girl
challenges him in front of his classmates, his curiosity is peaked. She would
be the perfect final score, and what fun to break her in the process.Too bad Harper Posy has no intention of being just another warm body,
especially to the bad boy quarterback. Even if he does quote Forster and Huxley
when no one is listening. An aspiring author herself, Cain and his hidden soft
side are dangerous to her heart. She’s seen men ruin her mother’s dreams time
and again, and she’s determined to fly far away as soon as she has that diploma
in her fist.

But as the school year’s end looms closer, both realize they didn’t quite
understand the rules to begin with. Is winning a dirty bet worth the gamble
when the stakes, or the other’s heart in this case, are so high?

Harper is the one girl who isn’t up for playing games. And she just might make
Cain lose. Everything.

“Life is about mistakes. It’s how we correct them that matters.”

This book can be pretty much summed up by that quote.

The Tenth Girl has the plot of books and movies that I have read before. But it’s the characters and the writing that makes me really enjoy this story and Carrie’s take on the idea of “boy makes stupid bet, falls in love and possibly loses girl.”

Cain is the star quarterback in his senior year, prepping to go to the most best college he can for football. Harper is the new girl at school after she and her mom move back to Texas for her senior of high school. Harper becomes Cain’s next target, but what ensues is nothing either expected.

I love that Harper maybe innocent in some aspects, she has a good head on her shoulders and doesn’t always fall right into the “stupid girl” daze. Cain has his douchebag moments, but I like that Carrie paints him a different light than most books too. He has the jock vibe, but he’s not a complete dick either.

“I am what you designed me to be. I am your blade. You cannot now complain if you also feel the hurt.”

Harper and Cain are fairly mature for their age with certain aspects, but sometimes do act a bit childish in their actions at times. As with all teenage love, they don’t talk things through and the need to create more drama than necessary is added in, but I think it helps add to the overall vibe of this story.

There is a lot to this story that I enjoyed reading and found entertaining because it just added more to the book. The cliché secondary characters, the parties, the nastiness coming from the school’s queen bee – I love these additions in this book – without it, the YA vibe would have been lost and felt too mature for kids still trying to figure out what the hell they are doing in life.

If you are in the mood for an easy and entertaining read – I highly recommend this one.

Keeper of the Bees by Meg Kassel…Blog Tour & Review

Keeper of the Bees
by Meg Kassel
Genre: YA Paranormal
Release Date: September 4th 2018
Entangled Teen

Summary:

“Beauty and the beast like you’ve never imagined!” —New York Times bestselling author Pintip Dunn

KEEPER OF THE BEES is a tale of two teens who are both beautiful and beastly, and whose pasts are entangled in surprising and heartbreaking ways.
Dresden is cursed. His chest houses a hive of bees that he can’t stop from stinging people with psychosis-inducing venom. His face is a shifting montage of all the people who have died because of those stings. And he has been this way for centuries—since he was eighteen and magic flowed through his homeland, corrupting its people.

He follows harbingers of death, so at least his curse only affects those about to die anyway. But when he arrives in a Midwest town marked for death, he encounters Essie, a seventeen-year-old girl who suffers from debilitating delusions and hallucinations. His bees want to sting her on sight. But Essie doesn’t see a monster when she looks at Dresden.

Essie is fascinated and delighted by his changing features. Risking his own life, he holds back his bees and spares her. What starts out as a simple act of mercy ends up unraveling Dresden’s solitary life and Essie’s tormented one. Their impossible romance might even be powerful enough to unravel a centuries-old curse.

She closes her eyes. Her breath hitches. Then, she does the improbable and throws herself against me, wrapping her arms around my waist.
I am paralyzed. Motionless, breathless in my first embrace in a millennium. To be touched… My eyes close as I tremble from head to toe. The pain is glorious, excruciating.
“Thank you,” she breathes against my chest. “You calm my mind. Why is that?”
“I don’t know.” Speech takes an unbearable effort. I’m overwhelmed in every single possible way—destroyed on a level she can’t begin to comprehend. My arms hover, uncertain how to return her embrace and unsure if I should. Unable to push her away. I feel as though I will shatter if I move, but my arms slowly close around her. One of my hands falls on her hair, where her elastic has loosened. The thin band slips from her hair and falls into my hand. My fingers close around it.

Meg Kassel has another smashing hit on her hands!!

This is a companion novel to Black Bird of the Gallows. They can be read separately and not in order and I loved each of these book equally as they very unique in their stories.

Keeper of the Bees is a YA fantasy novel about Dresden who is cursed as a beekeeper and Essie who is bound with her own curse.

As a beekeeper, his life curse is too infect those who have been marked with a bee sting and then once they pass, he takes on their face – sounds creepy but it is quite interesting.

Essie’s curse is one that has been passed down through he family for generations. And it’s only considered a curse because it a condition only affects select members within her family.

I love the whole vibe of this book – fantasy and mystery with a bit of romance tied in. The whole aspect of how Essie’s family curse began and what has happened over the decades with them is very interesting and how Dresden plays into it all makes for quite the entertaining read.

The characters, the writing and the the mystery of what is going on in the town; how the Harbingers, Strawman and Beekeepers play into everything – it’s ever element playing their intricate part to make up a this amazing fairy tale. I couldn’t stop reading this book.

Meg has definitely made a name for herself in the YA fantasy genre an I cannot wait to see what she brings us next!

From USA Today bestselling author W Winters
comes an emotionally captivating and thrilling, romantic suspense.
Her lips tasted like Cabernet and her touch was like fire.
I was blinded by what she did to me. I so easily fell for something I thought
I’d never have.I was weak for her and should’ve known better. I should’ve known she could
never love a man like me.

She brought out a side of me that I wish had stayed dead.

I won’t make the same mistake twice.

I don’t care how much she begs me.

I don’t care that I crave her more than anything else…

GOD DAMNIT WILLOW!!!! Just when I think we are getting an HEA, you go and throw another damn twist into this plot!!! I love you and hate you right now. LOL Thankfully we do not have to wait extremely long for the final book.

Breathless continues on from where Heartless ended and the plot keeps moving at an incredible pace. This book definitely hits more on the plot of the mafia and how Carter intends to bring down each player and their families. But we still get that intense and fucked up connection between Aria and Carter and that plays a key role in this.

I am beginning to understand Carter a bit more and that has to do with a book I read in between Breathless and Heartless. Winter released a book titled, A Kiss To Tell, that Carter plays as a secondary character in. But it gave me more insight as to who he was before all this. I still don’t like him and don’t agree with how he treats Aria, but I have better insight into this man and that has allowed me to enjoy this whole series even more.

Anyway – onto this book. As I have with every book so far in this series, I am still in awe of Aria and her strength. She continues to show me another side of who she is and the woman she is becoming in this fucked up mafia world. She is the reason I love this series.

I am enjoying this series more and more with each book. I don’t want it to end, but I also need to know how everything plays out. The true battle a book nerd falls into – never wanting a series to end, but needing it to to be fully satisfied.

Sheer by Sarah Robinson…Release Blitz & Review

Today we have the release day blitz of SHEER by Sarah Robinson! Check out the release day festivities and grab your copy today!

Title: Sheer

Author: Sarah Robinson

Genre: Contemporary Romance

About Sheer:

The long-awaited conclusion to the series that brought you NUDES (“passionate, emotional, and uplifting!” – #1 NY Times Bestseller Lauren Blakely) and BARE (“heartfelt and sexy!” – USA Today Bestselling Author Kate Meader), a young singer with stars in her eyes falls for a composer whose sordid background might strip them bare.

Grant Mercer is on the run from his secrets…

This was supposed to be an easy assignment—travel halfway across the globe and compose the musical score for an upcoming Hollywood movie by one of the biggest production companies in Los Angeles. One and done like dozens of times before. I wasn’t supposed to have my entire life crumble around me the moment my plane took off. I wasn’t supposed to meet her.

Intriguing and covered in ink, Simone enters my life like a storm, leaving only heartbreak in her wake. I should keep my distance. Hell, she should keep hers. Instead, we did the exact opposite.

Simone Reynolds is mending a broken heart…

Just months after finaling in one of television’s most watched singing competitions, I should be riding the high of my life. I should be celebrating starring in a musical film predicted to rock the box office. It’s hard to bask in my success when my family is suffering a loss we never saw coming. And then there’s Grant—brooding and rugged and an absolute pain in my ass as he messes with my movie.

He’s as broken as I am, but the perfect harmony is only a leap of faith away.

Sheer is the third and final book in the Exposed series with the Reynolds’ sisters. While they can all be read as a standalones, this final book sort of brings everything altogether.

Sheer is Simone’s story – the baby of the family. Her biggest rebellious behavior is her tattoos and streaks of colors in her hair. She’s always been the one to look for everyone else and make sure everyone else is happy.

Grant comes into her life when she has finally ready to focus on herself and her career. They both agree to something casual because he isn’t staying long and she herself isn’t too trusting of men to want anything more.

I enjoyed the plot line of this book but I feel like we were missing more to it. There were parts that felt rushed and sometimes both Simone and Grant were acting out of character. They both have no problems communicating with each other in any aspect of their lives but it’s how they react to situations that felt less like them. I felt like things were resolved too easily for how dramatic and important the issue was throughout the book.

Overall, this book was just an ok read for me. It was fairly fast paced but too quickly resolved. I definitely wanted more from these characters and how everything played out.

The entire series is a good read for anyone who enjoys very low drama and sweet endings.
