The Complication with the Best Man by Piper Rayne is now live!
One wild night turns into two pink lines.
Sleeping with the best man at my cousin’s wedding felt right at the time—he was a hot, available firefighter, and I was the tipsy maid of honor. It’s a rite of passage.
No regrets… until two pink lines flipped my world upside down.
Now I’m wildly unprepared and trying to hide my pregnancy in my small Alaskan town where privacy is a myth and gossip spreads faster than frostbite.
But wait, it gets worse.
Baby Daddy just came back to town—with a fiancée in tow.
And guess who she wants to plan their wedding?
Me.
Keeping the secret was hard enough.
Keeping my distance from the father of my baby? Impossible.
Just when I think I have it all figured out, he reveals his own secret that changes everything.
Author’s Note: There is no cheating in this book. Gasp! We would never.

Going into my senior year of university at war with a member of the British royal family wasn’t in my carefully laid plans. Sebastian Thorne might be the grandson of a princess, but it’ll take more than a royal pardon to get me to forgive him for pretending to be someone he’s not.
But Sebastian is determined to be my friend. Even if it means signing up to a psych experiment just to get me to talk to him. Who knew a sincere apology and him saying my name in that posh English accent would make me weak in the knees?
This year was supposed to be about my dissertation and graduate school. Only, Sebastian has thrown my ordered world off kilter. He makes me bolder, more confident. A braver version of me.
Yet every lingering glance and stolen touch has me realizing one thing…
I’m falling for my best friend.
There’s just one problem. Sebastian has demons, ones that make him determined to keep me in the friend zone no matter the cost.
And even when temptation sends his walls tumbling down, the beauty we’ve found might not survive against the will of powerful outside forces…

As a college English professor, Elizabeth looks forward to the start of each new semester teaching her creative writing seminar. At least until she reads chapter one of The Reckoning, a tale about a high school senior who has an affair with her teacher. To anyone else it would be the beginning of a great page-turner, but to Elizabeth it is the beginning of the end.
She knows this story. It’s all familiar because she lived it. The girl in the story was her best friend Jocelyn, and Elizabeth knows exactly how the story will end—with the teacher dead. Because she was the one who killed him.
Someone knows what Elizabeth did twenty years ago and her secret is about to be exposed, but who is the mystery student submitting the chapters? In an effort to find out, Elizabeth returns to her Louisiana hometown where it soon becomes clear that no matter how many years have gone by, she can’t escape her past.

A.L. Jackson is the New York Times & USA Today Bestselling author of contemporary romance. She writes emotional, sexy, heart-filled stories about boys who usually like to be a little bit bad.

She’s scared to fall in love again. He’s determined to be the one she falls for.
When Damon Diamond first laid eyes on Ainsley Archibald at fifteen, he knew it was more than just a crush. But with their four-year age gap and her indifference, he had to keep his feelings at bay.
Three years later, everything has changed. Damon’s no longer the boy she barely noticed–he’s grown into a confident, irresistible man with one goal for the summer: to make Ainsley his.
Ainsley arrives at her uncle’s resort in the Ozarks, eager to get back out there after a bad breakup. But the moment she lays eyes on Damon, everything shifts. He’s hot, heading to college, and the chemistry between them is undeniable.
What starts as harmless flirting, quickly spirals into feelings that neither of them can ignore.
Torn between her desire for him and the complications of their age difference, Ainsley must decide if she’s ready to risk everything for a summer of love.
Because Damon isn’t just after a fling–he wants her heart.
That Crush is the 9th book in the That Boy series, but can easily be read as a standalone. In all honesty, Jillian could’ve done this as spin-off series and released it that way.
That Crush is an age-gap, he falls first romance. If you have ever read anything by Jillian before, you know she always deliver a phenomenal romance story and this is no different.
This entire book takes place over the span of a week, but it also doesn’t feel that way. This is the second book recently where the actual time frame is short, but the story itself makes you forget that. What I was not expecting though – that ending.
I now not-so-patiently wait for the next book (or two) for Ainsley and Damon’s story to continue.
Meet Jillian Dodd
Jillian Dodd is a USA Today and Amazon Top 5 best-selling author of over fifty books. She writes fun binge-able romance series with characters her readers fall in love with–from the boy next door in the That Boy series to the daughter of a famous actress in The Keatyn Chronicles to a spy who might save the world in the Spy Girl series. Her newest series include London Prep, a prep school series about a drama filled three-week exchange, and the next generation of The Keatyn Chronicles, Eastbrooke Academy. She is married to her college sweetheart, adores writing big fat happily ever afters, wears a lot of pink, buys way too many shoes, loves to travel, and is distracted by anything covered in glitter.
K.A. Tucker writes captivating stories with an edge.
She is the internationally bestselling author of over thirty books, including Ten Tiny Breaths, The Simple Wild, and the Fate & Flame series, Until It Fades, Say You Still Love Me, and Keep Her Safe. Her books have been featured in national publications including USA Today, Globe & Mail, Suspense Magazine, Publisher’s Weekly, Oprah Mag, and First for Women.
K.A. Tucker lives outside of Toronto. When she’s not writing, you can find her reading recipes she’ll never make or chasing rabbits away from her hostas.
I did not (very sadly) read the first two book in this series but it did not at all damper by enjoyment of this book. I definitely have this burning need to go back and read them though.
Briar has returned home and while she’s trying to get out of her current “lifestyle”, she decides to host a party at her family’s estate. Along the way, she connects with Damiano and Flint and so begins the story.
It was really entertaining to see the push and pull between Damiano and Flint. And then add Briar into that mix – perfection. For me personally, this was the only area that I wanted more. Alta gives readers what we need, but I just felt like we could’ve had more. But I also understand why we didn’t as it wouldn’t have fit the overall vibe of the story. It’s also why it didn’t hurt the story for me in anyway, I am just being selfish in wanting more from these three in that MMF aspect. LOL
Alta’s writing style makes you feel like you are right in the thick of things with these characters. The pacing was perfect and everything flowed naturally from the romance aspect to the haunting parts. I loved everything about this book.
Meet Alta
Alta Hensley is a USA Today bestselling author of dark romance where the villain always gets the happily ever after.
Twisted, clever, and occasionally unhinged, her books deliver morally gray anti-heroes, sharp-tongued heroines, and happily ever afters that taste even sweeter after a little ruin. With a signature blend of grit, wit, and heat, Alta’s stories prove one thing: villains deserve love too.
Alta lives on the foggy coast of Oregon with her husband, two daughters, and a pair of dogs who think they’re in charge. When she’s not writing redemption for the irredeemable, she’s walking the coastline or sipping craft beer in foggy little bars that feel like they belong in her books.
Not all monsters hide under the bed. Some guard your heart while plotting your ruin.
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken comes a gripping standalone mafia romance set in the electrifying world of the Eagle Elite series.
Welcome to your final dream.
Don’t worry. I’ll keep you safe.
I promise. Just close your eyes.
Sleep.
Grief has five stages, they say. But in the mafia, there’s only one: survival.
The day I buried my boyfriend, the Families replaced him with the man who rejected me four years ago—Ace “Matchstick” De Lange. Cold. Calculated. Deadly. He has the bedside manner of a serial killer and the looks of a fallen angel. And now, he’s my shadow, ensuring I don’t end up in the grave beside the man who died for me.
I despise that I’m the one left behind. I loathe how Ace provokes me, pulling me from the abyss of my sorrow. But most of all, I hate that the only piece I have left of my dead boyfriend is something others would kill to possess.
When Ace uncovers my secret, there’s only one solution: marriage to the devil himself to protect the legacy of the one who had no choice.
I vow never to love him. He promises he’ll never love me.
He’s a means to an end—the only one who can stand against my father and live to tell the tale.
He claims his life is mine, but I don’t want it.
I tell him I’ll never be his.
Ace’s response? A chilling, “We’ll see.”
But what happens when everything you believed was a lie? When the only one who can free you from your nightmare threatens to drag you deeper into the darkness?
Some families are tested and break under the weight of the mafia. The De Langes broke… then gathered the pieces and rose.
Diving into RVD’s mafia series is akin to coming home – a home filled with chaotic love and fiercely protected.
Little Nightmare is the second book in the Rise of the DeLanges series, a spin-off from her Eagle Elite series. You need zero prior knowledge to that series or her other spin-off, Mafia Royals, but you will have the need to read them after you finish this one.
Ace & Raven are from two different families within the mafia and had a previous run-in that left some bitter, unresolved issues. And now, Ace finds himself as Raven’s bodyguard. What could ever possibly go wrong!?
Rachel delivers a story that’s riddled with snarky interactions and two individuals dealing with their own struggles. Ace stole the limelight for me in this story though. His character arc was written so incredibly well, it became impossible for me to not feel everything he went through.
Little Nightmare is a fantastic second book in The Rise of De Langes series. While I felt the ending was a bit rushed, the majority of this book was perfection.
Previous readers of Rachel’s mafia books will know exactly what to expect in her books. New readers will get to experience her intense, darker side of writing and see why so many of us live by the quote, “Blood In, No Out.”

You Were Never Not Mine by Monica Murphy is now live!
She should hate him at first sight…
August Lancaster is a menace. His power at Lancaster Prep is legendary, and no one dares cross him. He’s a ruling senior, and everyone wants to be his friend, or at the very least stay in his good graces.
When he sets his sights on me my freshman year, he makes me wish I never existed. His constant, unwanted attention is humiliating. He makes me burn with both anger and desire. Even though I try to give as good as I get, it isn’t until he graduates that I can actually breathe.
Now I’m finally at college, and it’s everything I want it to be. New people, new experiences, new Sinclair. Until I discover that August attends the same university. When he starts flirting with me at a frat party, I realize he doesn’t even recognize me. At first, I’m humiliated all over again, but I quickly decide to make it my mission to remind August f’ing Lancaster exactly who I am.
I start running into him everywhere. Problem is, he can’t stop talking to me. Kissing me. Touching me. It’s like he’s obsessed with me, and soon enough…I’m worried I’m becoming obsessed with him, too.
But can I trust him? Does someone like August ever truly change? Or is he going to ruin me yet again?

You Were Never Not Mine – the final (maybe) book in the Lancaster Prep generation and Monica gives her readers a impactful story.
August and Sinclair’s story is quite the doozy. It’s told from both their POVs and has some flashbacks to their past when they had their first encounter.
Monica paces this story perfectly – it’s fast paced with a very engaging plot that is very character driven. I have to say that August made this book outstanding for me. You have to read it to find out why.
I have read this entire generation (the first Lancaster Prep series and this spin-off with their children) and I absolutely love it. I love Monica’s writing style as it matches perfectly with this world and the characters she has created.
You can easily read this book without having any previous knowledge of any other books, but do know that it will make you want to read the other books in this world.
Meet Monica
Monica Murphy is a New York Times, USA Today, and international bestselling romance author. Her books have been translated in almost a dozen languages and have sold over two million copies worldwide. Both a traditionally published and independently published author, she writes young adult, new adult and contemporary romance.
A native Californian, she lives on fourteen acres in the middle of nowhere with her husband, son, their goofy dog, and three cats. When she’s not writing, she’s thinking about writing. Or reading. Or binge watching something.
New York Times bestselling author Tijan delivers a bold romance about two people wrestling with emotional trauma, thrown into a deadly—and heated—power dynamic when the mafia comes after them both.
Every bride dreams of her wedding day.
Today was supposed to be that day for me, except it’s not me marrying my college sweetheart.
My best friend is doing that. Or, well, my ex–best friend.
Instead, I’m over a thousand miles away, riding the subway in a city where lost people come to dream.
Me—I’m just hoping to distract myself from my heartbreak.
That is, until I met Jake Worthing.
Grumpy.
Hot.
A total jerk.
Did I mention hot?
Also, extremely presumptuous.
Just because I look like I’m a thought away from a total meltdown does not mean I need an ambulance.
He had the audacity to ask if I needed medical treatment.
Well, good riddance to him.
I don’t ever have to see him again.
Except, well, I do when I’m taken to the police station for a total misunderstanding.
He walks in and…gah. He’s the same that I remember from our first meeting.
Brooding. Still gorgeous. (The universe is not fair sometimes.)
He’s stirring up emotions that I didn’t know were still inside of me.
Then someone tries to shoot him and I’m a witness, and…er, how is it that I’m the one being kidnapped?
And by Jake?
Now I’m heated for a whole different reason.
If I get myself out of this captive situation, I’m going to reign down my own destruction starting with Jake Worthing.
I just have to survive first and, also, not get my heart broken. Again.

Sweet Surrender is the best description (and obvious title) for this book.
Jase and Hendrix could not be more different from one another if they tried. But she’s what he needs and he’s got something she needs. What could go wrong!? LOL
I really enjoyed the banter between these two. It showed not only their chemistry, but who they are as individuals. We got to see another side of Jase that only Hendrix was able to pull out of him.
I don’t want to say much because it gives away the dynamics between these two and their story. I enjoyed the forced proximity and how these two handled it and what it created between them.
Sweet Surrender is more than just a rockstar romance; it’s an emotional story that readers will absolutely love.
