Because of Her is the final book in the Jack and Jill series. It can be read as a standalone (I have not read all the books myself) but I would recommend reading them in order to get the full impact. With that being said, I still thoroughly enjoyed this book.

I have read just about every book that Jewel has written and I am just in complete awe of how well she writes in so many different sub-genres. Her writing is impeccable; she knows how to pull her readers into the story and keep them captivated from start to finish.

Because of Her is the perfect mix of suspense and mystery along with all the emotions these characters exude. Jewel brings this book to life by creating authentic characters and allowing the story to unfold naturally. I love that nothing felt forced or added to just create unnecessary suspense.

I want to say so much about this book, but I’m afraid I would reveal too much unintentionally. I will say that I absolutely adore Frankie and love that she’s what Jack needed, even if he could not see that in the beginning.

A perfect addition and ending to this series.

This was a cute snowed-in, forced proximity Holiday Romance!!

I devoured this one in a day and loved every bit of it.

Ilsa does a great job of nailing the many tropes in this story and making them all work beautifully.

Christmas Cupid is told from both POVs and truly helps readers have a better understanding of where each character is coming.

I loved the banter between Kyler and Iris. These two could not be any more opposite if they tried and yet somehow, they found ways to get along. But I also loved that they challenged one another too.

This may be a novella, but Ilsa delivers a full story here and makes it so realistic too.

You Beautiful Thing, You was an interesting read for me. I didn’t not like it and I didn’t love it. I am truly torn right down the middle on this one.

I absolutely loved the idea of this book and the writing was ok. I enjoyed the characters and their uniqueness, however there were other things that just didn’t jive with me.

I will say that the book is enticing and kept me entertained. It’s not your typical NA romance; it definitely stands out.

I would still recommend readers check the TW and then go from there on reading it.
