WOW!! This was an addicting read.
I have no idea where to start, or what to say and not spoil anything.
This story definitely went in ways I was not expecting. But in true Siobhan fashion, she knows how to deliver the angst and emotions, and keeping the reader fully engaged the entire time.
I really enjoyed how Siobhan told this story in two parts. Astrid and Callahan’s story starts off when they are both seniors in high school and he just moved to the area from Ireland. We get to see their relationship go from friends to more and how explosive their chemistry is – not just physically, but emotionally.
The second part if them as adults and they come face to face once again after being torn apart all those years ago. And that is all that I am saying on that part.
Astrid and Callahan’s story is an emotional journey that will keep you at the edge of your seat the entire time. There will be tears, curses and smiles throughout it all and it will be worth every emotional whiplash.
