I can honestly say that if you have not read any of Nana’s books before (like myself), you can easily start this new series without any prior knowledge and absolutely enjoy it.
The main characters, Lance and Morgan, absolutely carried this book with their chemistry, the tension between them, and their banter. Nana did a wonderful job of creating characters that were more than just surface level and more than just the circumstances they grew up in.
I really enjoyed the storyline, along with the twists and turns that helped add some layers to this dynamic world. Nana does a great job with the secondary characters by adding more dimensions to the family dynamics.
This story flowed really well and I really liked how everything blended together and delivered an entertaining book. And that cliffhanger – well done. I cannot wait for the next book.
