Paige is Adrian’s brother’s best friend. They all group up together but there was always one rule between Adrian his brother, Cade, Paige is off limits to him. Well…what Cade doesn’t know, won’t hurt him…until Paige loses them both when she and Adrian are caught.

Adrian definitely has his work cut out for him. He knows he did her dirty over a decade ago, but it had to be done. And now he has even more reason to force himself back into her life and force he does.

Adrian is an alpha in every way and it was one of the many things Paige used to love about him. But now she just wants to do her job and for him to uphold to his part of the contract. Nothing is very that simple, especially when two individuals have a very passionate past and a fiery attraction that is easily combustible.

I absolutely loved the tension and angst in this story. The suspense was a nice added touch even though I felt the ending was a bit lackluster.

Overall, a great story and perfect addition to this series.
