My Review:

In Audible’s version of Blood Truth, narrator Jim Frangione is again the perfect voice for JR Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood Legacy characters.  Though his take on a Boston accent for Butch is not perfect, the essence is there and his knowledge of the storylines and characters is palpable in the way he brings life to Boone and Helaine’s relationship and the Brotherhood’s investigation into a series of murders.
While we do get to see Butch uses his cop skills and a good exposure to several Band of Brothers members, a couple of the story lines never really get resolved including Boone’s reaction in battle or Syn’s issues – hopefully the set-up for a follow-on story!
Don’t stop listening at the end, there’s a fantastic interview between J.R. and Jim Frangione that’s worth a listen.
