Sacred Sins, the stunning conclusion to the Sins Duet by New York Times bestselling author CD Reiss, is available NOW!
You know what they say about family.
Blood is thicker than water.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
A house divided cannot stand.
Margie is the keeper of her family’s secrets.
Six sisters and one brother.
Billions in assets.
Generations of malfeasance.
And one heartbreaking secret kept by three people.
Margie.
Her father, Declan.
And Drew—the man she loves.
You know what they say about secrets.
Three can keep them if two are Drazens.
There’s never been a Drazen who went down without a fight. And there’s never been one who didn’t fight for love.

Excerpt:
“Drew?” I said into the darkness. “Indiana Andrew McCaffrey, stop fucking with me. I’m in no mood.”
My eyes adjusted. I stepped farther in, letting my hand drift over the counter edge. They’d changed it to cheap flipper granite. The cabinets were presswood veneer. But still, I touched them as if they were original Douglas fir and my name was Cin.
“Margaret.”
His voice didn’t surprise me. I didn’t jump ten feet or stiffen with shock when I saw his silhouette against the doorframe. Hearing him was a relief. The binds keeping my shit together weren’t unknotted completely, but they loosened. I hadn’t felt tense in a long time because I was so used to being in a state of taut readiness.
“Indy.”
His stage name came from my lips without a thought.
“I’m glad you came.”
Sixteen years, and he was glad I came. Fuck him.
I have been “patiently” waiting for Scared Sins for quite some time. And when you are left waiting for what feels like a lifetime, you are praying that the wait is worth it. And my damn, it was so worth it and more!!
Margie is the anchor of the Drazen family and it’s about damn time she got her spotlight. Sacred Sins is part of a duet (Secret Sins is the first) but it’s within the Drazen world (Submission series). You only need to read Secret Sins first in order to follow this duet. However, I will warn you that once you read this, you will want to read the other books after your interests are piqued.
Scared Sins is Margie’s story; a story that is way more complicated and intricate than I anticipated. Margie is the family pillar – she fights hard but loves harder. However, she is seen as the unemotional one, the Drazen who’s heart is surrounded by steel and rules with a strong fist. But little does anyone know, underneath that steel shell, is a woman who once was softer.
Margie is a force to be reckon with. She goes to battle for everyone and puts everyone’s happiness before her own. Until she is forces to face the one truth – the one where everything is put on the line. Oh, I have chills all over my body just thinking about how all this played out – and no, I am not telling you.
I really do not want to say much more about this one. If you know Christine and her writing talent – she is a mastermind of story telling and character building. She wraps you up so tight, it’s impossible to pull yourself out of it.
Do yourself a favor this holiday season – sit down and binge this duet. You will not be disappointed and I won’t apologize for getting you caught up in the world of the Drazen family.
About CD Reiss
CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up she’s at the well hauling buckets.
Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.
She’s frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn’t ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood.
If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
