He holds a power over me like no one else ever could.
Maybe it’s because my heart begs to beat in time with
his.
Maybe it’s because my body bows to his and his alone.
Maybe it’s because he thought he loved me before he even
laid eyes on me.
He thought wrong, it wasn’t me he thought he loved, and
nothing has made me suffer like that little secret has.  He thought I
belonged to him, but he was wrong. It was never supposed to be me.
Our memories are deceiving, but I know what I want now.
What I need more than anything.
I won’t rest until he’s as much mine as I am his.
It’s always been him.

We finally have the final book in the Merciless series, but probably not the end of Aria and Carter’s story. I have no doubt that Willow will somehow intertwine these two into the next brother’s book.

Endless definitely ties a lot of loose ends, gives us a few more jaw-dropping twists and brings things together, but the war between these families, is far from over.

I won’t go into details, but I have to say that I was bit letdown on this book. This book had much more focus on the issues between Aria and Carter and their personal, inner musings, than the actual family wars going on around them.

I found myself becoming annoyed with Aria’s pity party and wanted her to fight back more – show the strength that she proven before to have. As for Carter, I still don’t like him and he did not win me over, even in the end. Other than what happens (yea, I am not giving that away), he still doesn’t show that he is worthy of Aria’s love. He’s a dick that needs to do LOTS of groveling and I mean LOTS!!

There were parts that I had wished played out differently and showed Aria’s true strength. I know that she does not like the world she has been born into, but sometimes it takes a strong woman to show the men who think with violence alone and not words, how to get shit done and still prove who’s the most powerful.

Overall, it’s an ok ending to this series. I had expected a lot more carnage, more arrangements and agreements being made along with Carter and Aria working things out differently than what happened. But, I am not the writer and they have the creativity to end the series how they see fit – they won’t win every one of us over and that’s what makes the book world unique.

But I am looking forward to what she has hinted at near the end of the book. My eyes will be glued to Willow’s updates.

Author Bio

Willow Winters is so happy to be a USA Today, Wall Street Journal and #1 Contemporary Bestselling Romance Author. She likes her action hot and her bad boys hotter. She certainly doesn’t hold back on either one in her writing!Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.

In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!
