WHAT A RIDE!

This is the seventh book in the Mythean Arcana series by Linsey Hall, but the first book that I’ve read. It will NOT be the last! Witch’s Fate is a very fast-paced read that encompasses love, lust, loyalty, mystery, and suspense.

Sofia is a Protector and as such, the safety and welfare of Bruxa’s Eye, her village in the Amazon Jungle, was her responsibility. She and Malcolm have a deep-rooted history that started when they met over 400 years ago while training to become warlocks. She needed the power of a warlock in order to break the curse that resulted in her becoming Protector in the first place. Malcolm comes from a long line of sorcerers and his path was determined for him long ago.

Sofia and Malcolm fell deeply in love during their training and she was looking forward to their future together once they completed their transitions. What she didn’t know was, at the end of the transition to a warlock, one goes on to become an Oath Breaker — a person bound by fate to break any oath or promise they made. Since love is a commitment, should Sofia and Malcolm choose to be together, then it would mean their death. Sofia quits her training immediately so they can be together but, unfortunately, Malcolm has other plans. When Sofia presents Malcolm with an ultimatum, her or becoming a warlock, she is crushed that she was not Malcolm’s first choice.

Now, in present time, Sofia is in dire need of assistance, but only one person will be able to help her. The one person that got her in so much trouble to begin with. The one person that chose their predestined path over her; over love. Malcolm.

Before becoming a writer, Linsey was an archaeologist who studied shipwrecks in all kinds of water, from the tropics to muddy rivers (and she has a distinct preference for one over the other). After a decade of tromping around in search of old bits of stuff, she settled down to started penning her own adventure novels and is freaking delighted that people seem to like them. Since life is better with a little (or a lot of) magic, she writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance.
