A sassy, sexy, laugh-out-loud rom-com between the hottest man never to be tamed and the woman crazy enough to try
SHE WANTS TO CHANGE THE WORLD.
Taylor Reed is no stranger to selfish, uncaring CEOs. She was fired by one, which is why she has created her own executive training program—helping heartless bosses become more human. So Taylor shocks even herself when she agrees to coach Bennett Wade, the cutthroat exec who got her unceremoniously canned. She’d love to slam the door in his annoying but very handsome face, but the customers aren’t exactly lining up at her door. Plus, this extreme makeover will give Taylor the golden opportunity to prove that her program works like a charm.
HE WANTS TO BUY IT.
Bennett Wade is many things—arrogant, smug, brusque—but trusting isn’t one of them. Women just seem to be after his billions. So when he hires Taylor Reed, he has no desire to change. Bennett is trying to win over the feminist owner of a company he desperately wants to buy, but something about the fiery Taylor thaws the ice around his heart, making Bennett feel things he never quite planned on. And if there’s one thing Bennett can’t stand, it’s when things don’t go according to plan.
They are a match tailor-made for trouble.
My Review:
Tailored For Trouble is the first book in a new series form author Mimi Jean Pamfiloff and the first of her work that I’ve read. Well, I can say that I’ve found a new author to keep on my radar because I loved this book!
I love a good enemies to lovers story and this book was a perfect example of that trope done really well. I adored Taylor and her no nonsense attitude. I enjoyed her spitfire personality and her inner dialogue was quite funny. Bennet, while he’s the type of guy you love to hate, I knew I would end up loving as the story progressed…and boy did I. Together these two are sexy and fun and I really enjoyed watching their relationship ebb and flow from start to finish.
Overall this was a fun and sexy read and I will certainly be reading more form this author again!
Four-and-a-Half Loves
About the author:
Mimi lives with her Latin Lover hubby, two pirates-in-training (their boys), and the rat terrier duo, Snowflake and Mini Me, in Arizona. She hopes to make you laugh when you need it most and continues to pray daily that leather pants will make a big comeback for men.
I read this book as well and hated it. I thought Benett was a jerk and Taylor was dumb for putting up with it. I didn’t feel and love connection for the 2 of them. That being said I will read another story from this author.
Well, now…this sounds like a fun take on the old trope….if you enjoyed it that much, I’ll give it a go!
